  1. Quite right but try telling that to the virtue signallers in western countries.
  2. Agree fully. And what of the unsuspecting neighbours of the 'kind people' now looking after the dog? This dog is proven to be extremely dangerous, irrespective of arguments between bad dogs, bad owners etc. It is what it is and the dog should be put down forthwith for the safety and protection of others.
  3. You're quite correct in that there seems to be an increase in dog attacks in the UK recently but in every instance I have read about, the attacks either took place within the home or where the dog was in the company of it's owner. Only yesterday I read that the met police have released CCTV of a man walking two dogs on leads, one of which went on to attack an eleven year old girl during the dogs' walk. There is no comparison with the unacceptably high incidence of attacks by strays here in Thailand. Mind you, dogs aside, I entirely agree with your take on how uncivilised the UK is.
  4. 'Brought a lot of criticism on herself....' by whom, though? Almost undoubtedly the usual vocal minority; the terminally outraged, who can't get to grips with facts than run counter to their ideology. If these people want to ram their opinions down the throats of us who just want to he left alone, they're going to get push back. If someone tells me a dog is a duck, I don't care how many people support that view, its still wrong in my book. A dog is is dog. Nice to have a debate with you, by the way.
  5. You quoted a UK court's comment as part of a critique against my post, to support your counter view. Thats what its got to do with your post. I think you're the one who needs to 'keep up'.
  6. The UK judicial system is one of the many institutions that has been politicised so that it foists a left wing bias on society. Countless examples of this to anyone who's interested. By the way the topic isn't about twitter - its about Trump being allowed back on Twitter. Your post infers that my comment is off topic - yeah maybe, but it was in response to another poster. Have a nice day.
  7. The problem is that the radical left manipulate and distort language. Hence J K Rowling's factual comments on human biology have been deemed 'hateful' by the barmy army, so instead of engaging her in debate they cancel and attack her like playground bullies.
  8. Fact: hate is part of the human condition as is jealousy, envy and a host of other undesirable traits. Deal with it. We are heading for a sanitised world where people of a certain political persuasion will exploit restrictions on freedom of speech to close down debate.
  9. Same in the UK. Most people completely unaware of the influence this unelected bunch of Marxists has on government policy.
  10. You prefer Jeremy Hunt? This man, apart from being a WEF globalist and in the Tory Party under false pretences (like so many of them), was strongly in favour of removing covid positive people from there homes and put in quarantine camps, and mandatory vaccinations. Anyone who favours this kind of tyranny should move to China - which is where Hunt's wife is from by the way.
  11. Probably living in Canada under a communist dictator. Would be enough to make anyone bitter and twisted - apart from other communists of course! ????
  12. Hi Larry, I know how frustrating it can be when you're prevented from working out because of injury. One thing you could try which doesn't require much in the way of leg movement is to shadow box vigorously holding light dumbells. Or if you have access to a punch bag, use that instead (without the dumbells). Both methods will get your heart rate up I can assure you. It helps if you can flex your knees slightly but if you can't, you'll still get a good work out. Start with shorter durations of say a minute x 5, then work up to 90 seconds. Aim for full arm extensions as well. Hope that helps.
  13. Alan Alanrchase Yes but cats don't kill and maim children, do they? And they're not a nuisance to walkers, runners and cyclists either.
  14. Plenty of negative reviews on Trustpilot that warns that the Boots service isn't always reliable. On the other hand Express Test gets a good rating ,and my experience with them bears this out.
  15. I arrived last Monday and although all my paperwork was thoroughly checked before going through passport control, the Mor Chana app wasn't ever mentioned, so I don't think by not having it you'll have any problems
  16. It must be true if its come from the UK Government. Dear oh dear. I suppose you take what the BBC tells you as gospel as well.
  17. Well said. The overbearing arrogance of some of the keyboard warriors on this forum is a constant reminder of why I don't involve myself in social media platforms.
