Well, I understand that the station was given a royally bestowed name so they have to change it. That is a given. My questions to management would be: 1. Why didn't you request the name from the start, before construction? This is called planning. 2. Why request renaming after the station had been built and the giant letters placed on two ends? 3. Why ask for a royally given name after construction at all? It really looks like management incompetence from the start. It isn't as if a royally bestowed name is a surprise - someone has to request it. Knowing they were going to make a formal request, surely they could have held off on naming it Bangsue Central Station? However much is costs they can hardly back out at this stage. Just a bit of forethought could have saved the country a lot of money.

There are lots of fact checkers/analysts and these things are not fact checked by the drug companies. Organizations like the US FDA and UK NHS busted the myths you mentioned years ago. Moreover, COVID is a coronavirus and work on coronaviruses has been undertaken for years before COVID-19 emerged. It is comparable to the development of airplanes years before war breaks out. Not believing scientists is fine, but no one believes non scientists. I linked to an article written by scientists. Here are a few more by reputable agencies. https://www.health.gov.au/our-work/covid-19-vaccines/is-it-true/is-it-true-were-covid-19-vaccines-rushed-through-approvals-or-given-emergency-use-authorisations-in-australia https://www.aarp.org/health/drugs-supplements/info-2020/covid-vaccine-myths.html?cmp=KNC-DSO-HEALTH-Health_COVID-NonBrand-Phrase-36909-GOOG-COVID-DrugsSupplement-VaccineMyths-COVID-Phrase-NonBrand&gclid=Cj0KCQiAzeSdBhC4ARIsACj36uGVVl-howQsYg2Tb9WeNOJMPPm5HseULtdI7oZef7MsUtJBnZTypyMaArh9EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/facts.html

After all these years of reading news articles about murder, I doubt that there are many truly, purely, evil people in the world. There are many who are mentally ill for sure. A psychopath is mentally ill for instance. I read that many CEOs are psychopaths. Not evil unless treating people like sh*t is evil. This murderer is probably unbalanced, wouldn't say evil.

Thailand’s official population at December 31st 2022 was 66,090,475
Purdey replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
As the last census was in 2010, the Thai authorities are wonderful at juggling statistics. -
The naming convention was interesting to know. The fact that Thailand does rely on the military for disaster relief is also good. I just feel being rescued by the navy might go either way

The vaccine was tested as normal with clinical trials etc. It passed all the usual tests. Scientists had spent years developing vaccines against coronaviruses before COVID. Fauci (you can't even spell his name right) is a scientist with decades of experience but you, with zero experience, make this stuff up and expect to look impressive. Try reading. https://www.umms.org/coronavirus/covid-vaccine/facts/testing

Crisis unfolding in the wards of Beijing many line the hospital floor !
Purdey replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Well, there are plenty of people here who seem oblivious to the risk of infection. I understand that vaccinated people can get it but their risk of death is low. They can, however, pass it on to the unvaccinated. I suspect the airports will have their temperature scanners on and pull people over if they are suspect. Thailand needs tourists because they cannot invest in manufacturing without an educated population. -
Those sunlit uplands are calling. A good opportunity to invest in energy independence.

Went to see a doctor recently about a lump on the palm of my hand. Left hand so it wasn't caused by what you might think. People at the office told me they knew what it was and that it could be cut out by surgery. When the doctor saw it, he confirmed it was not cancer. I asked if it should be cut out as mentioned by others. He laughed and told me when he practiced in the USA, patients would come in with articles or medical books and told him what to do. He lay my hand on the table, scrubbed the palm with alcohol, picked up a large syringe filled with anasthetic and pushed it into the lump without any anasthetic and there was a spray of clear liquid. It hurt but he put the anasthetic in afterward and said, there was no need for an operation. What I learned was: 1. Don't take medical advice from anyone who doesn't have MD after their name 2. Go to a good hospital with a reputation 3. Ask to see a specialist, especially in the case of the OP 3. Do what he suggests. You may ask questions, but he or she is a specialist for a reason.

It is completely legal to own a gun but it is heavily regulated. You must also prove to the chief of police that you’re allowed to have a firearms certificate and pose no danger to public safety or to the peace. No history of mental illness or criminal record. A shotgun certificate will not be given or renewed if the chief of police has a reason that you should not be allowed to have a shotgun under the Firearms Act. Or if they do not think you have a good reason to have, buy or acquire a shotgun. Usually, shotguns are used by farmers to get rid of vermin. Olympic shooters are another group who need guns. In high school, before it became more difficult to get a certificate, I shot .303 rifles and reached sharpshooter rank. There are many gun clubs today. Not sure why people think we are not allowed guns but without a good reason, not many want to have one.

Such a shock. Expect gun ownership to become more difficult.

Democrats outraged over Christmas Eve migrant drop-off at VP’s house
Purdey replied to Scott's topic in World News
Isn't there a law about smuggling ilegal immigrants across state borders? Something called human trafficking? Quite shocked that no charges are being laid. -
Boris Becker feared attack in UK jail but learned lesson
Purdey replied to webfact's topic in World News
Weird. They all think they're smarter than the law and after they get caught they have learned a lesson. Don't do the crime of you can't do the time. -

5 people killed in a ‘horrendous’ condo shooting in Canada, police say
Purdey replied to Scott's topic in World News
Seems a common element of mass shootings is that they take everyone by surprise and no one is on the scene to shoot back.
