57 minutes ago, champers said:900 to "ring the bell" in one place I have read about. People pay it to help keep their favourite bars going and their pet girls clothed and fed; charity by another name.
and/or paying for people to like them

Staying in a hotel and the compressor is running nonstop even set on 30 degrees throughout the night.
Hotel is refusing to fix it and insisting it’s working as cold air can still be felt coming the AC unit. The temperature feels the same whichever degrees it’s set at.
Can this cause any health problems? Both me and my partner have sore throats but not sure if it’s related to this..

I am currently working in Thailand on a non-b visa and will be getting married next month. I'm wanting to switch it to a non-o.
Is it possible to have this changed to a non-o without having to leave the country and go through the quarantine process?

France is a truly great country, give me a plane ticket and a job and I'd be there like a shot. Only thing that concerns me about France is all the Africans who have somehow gotten into the country, and all the crime, muggings and rioting that obviously goes along with it.
So not a great country anymore.
Watch Paul Joseph Watson’s video on Paris, doubt I’ll ever go there again

My GF was just telling me that the other rich guy that killed a policeman not too long ago while drunk driving, who paid around 45 million in compensation, plus paid for said policeman's children's future schooling, and university, and apparently showed genuine remorse, has been told by a court that he still has to serve time. Six years according to GF.
Anyone seen news on this?
No, which country?

Which course would be seen as the ‘easiest’ to complete? This is my only worry about doing the course, not the cost..

a too had a disgusting experience last week
though the bill wasnt huge, I asked if my insurance covered the treatment, they confirmed to me both on the phone and at reception, before doing a uturn afterwards saying my insurance didn't cover it and asked me to pay. I walked out refusing to pay and they called me offering to halve the bill.
government hospitals are the way to do it. these private hospitals should be named and shamed for the scams they perform

I take that back, they’ve just called me and said car needs a new a/c compressor which has doubled the cost they quoted me

thanks for the tips, just went the b-quik route, was far cheaper than I was expecting and the problems mentioned by the local shop didn't exist

Your location would greatly assist forum members advising you of places to take it.
Am sure B-Quick could sort it but I find they can be a tad expensive compared to specialty shops (like AC places) when it comes to diagnosing problems and fixing them.
It does pay to shop around for quotes though, also ask if parts quoted are OEM or aftermarket.
I’m in khon kaen city so plenty of options I’d assume..

The local repair shop tried to fix the aircon last week and said they couldn’t and that about 20k baht of repairs need doing on it (not just a/c)
Normally I get the oil changed at bquik where they’ll do a free health check and give a list problems the car needs at an inflated price
Oil needs changing again as it happens so is it best to go back there, find out what’s wrong and the cost to fix it, then go to smaller repair shops and get quotes?
Or is it better to go through bquik or a more recognised name?

they'd probably still require a quarantine, which is the new money maker to replace visa runs
