knowing they caused this disaster and therefore need to be punished.

hmmm, if u believe some of the stories, the chinese got it from the canadians who got it from the yankees so maybe concentrate on 'living' rather than 'revenge'...

In uk nobody is dying of it really, more died in the late 90s whatever happened then....

the world revolves around money printing and BS......no way I'm getting a new kind of untested 'vaccine'.....mRNA is new, if you don't understand that you need to get watching some youtube videos lol

    Good luck!!

It varies. Are you going to pay the entire sum up front, or pay it yearly?

It's not unusual for the price of a 30 year lease to be equivalent to the cost to buy the land.

yeah I guessed the price wouldn't be much different to buying but I guess I'll pay the price for being an ugly foreigner lol ????

what discount do you get for paying it all up front?

BritManToo  --  since my septic tank flows into the single house pipe line carrying the grey water/food solids (small but still solid)

are you sure about that? very unusual, plus if you think about it, a couple of 'malfunctions' and suddenly lots of turds are blocking up that 'single house pipe line' ????

Normally with a septic tank it flows into some sort of 'sand filtration unit' or directly into the garden......I'm sure you need something between your tank and any 'communal pipe' to stop said turds on an escape mission ????

  4. defo don't get a loan from a builder yikes!!

Have you looked at 'price charts' of land and property in Thailand?

In the west the housing market has gone seriously bonkers in the last 20 years, so much so I think you'd be crazy to buy now

Back in the good old days, the banks would only let you borrow say 3 times your salary for a 25 year loan

Now it is something like 6 times and loans of over 30 years...it's a complete scam really especially in places like the UK...it's akin to living in a 'hell hole' over there now lol

Don't listen to the 'renting is money wasted' gang, depends on the area and the costs involved, if you manage to rent cheap for a while you can build up some capital and you can always use it for 'other investments' OR a large deposit on a 'distressed sale'

    Good luck!

Mwaaaaaa....  90 units in a month of 30 days that is 3000w for each day.

Something that is running 24hrs hasn't to exceed the 125wH.

You sure can use bit more then a lot of 15 watt bulbs ????

I concur, I think 3kWh a day is quite plentiful in this modern era of energy efficient devices!

Do you pay a monthly fee or is it totally free if under 90 units?

Because I want all my money to remain in my credit union in America. I am not jumping through the Immigration transfer hoops, when I can just pay a flat fee to stay. No choice until I can move to the Philippines.

thanks, interesting, what's this 'flat fee' that you pay?

Actually it looks as if it’s apparent power, if so then it’s very much not the same and becoming less and less the same. All you need to do is put some LEDs on a meter that shows the power factor and you will see how badly different they are and so much more you would be charged if paying for apparent rather than real power.

yeah interesting......thing is you can't do anything about it here, you just pay less of a 'monthly charge' for the lower capacities

France is turning into a complete fascist state, they have these Linky meters which monitor everything you do and apparently can even tell when you switch on a light bulb, yikes!

what exactly does this 5/15 mean? what's the monthly charge and is it cheaper than having a 15/45?

    cheers

So.. I’m not sure what point you are trying to make - what does your ‘critical mindset’ tell you about excess deaths ????

there haven't been any 'excess deaths' despite all the posturing to the contrary by the media and the governments!

are you afraid today? why weren't you afraid in the winters of the late 90s which saw EVEN more deaths that this 'deadly virus'? maybe you weren't in the UK?

someone once said 'the only thing to fear is fear itself', ah yes Mr Roosevelt ????

Having no idea what 1 kVA  is so I have no context to understand your reference

just think of it as 1kW......they describe it as kVA because apparently that's the 'potential to deliver a kilowatt' but to all intents and purposes it's the same

So can you choose different levels in Thailand too?

  10. 6 hours ago, sometimewoodworker said:

I can guess, with reasonable confidence, at the supply voltage that you are used to, but even in the USA a house supply is usually at or over 100A so where is the difference?

well interestingly in France you can choose the kVA that gets delivered to your house, starting at 3

With a 6 delivery I have seen a peek of 6.8 and it didn't cut out lol

Yeah, not sure what they mean by "2P" could just be a typo assuming there are connections behind all those pins..

    could it mean no earth?

I've been in older French houses where they've just taken sockets from 'lighting circuits' so had no earth!

I know a lot of appliances don't need an earth nowadays but I'd defo be earthing all my sockets now!

Disclaimer: not a sparky despite rewiring my house lol
