Thai Airways accused of favouring foreign passengers over Thais
KiChakayan replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
"One woman who claimed to be a former attendant added that the flight attendant always took the best care of Thai passengers. She added that some Thai passengers were very demanding compared to others." In other words the "you don't know who I am" syndrome. Entitled anuses if you ask me... -
Time for restrictions?
KiChakayan replied to bluejets's topic in Real Estate, Housing, House and Land Ownership
Thai laws are never designed to protect the little guys, the foreign property ownership restrictions are only there to protect the wealthy Thai investors. -
Sounds reasonable, but one would need a definition of revealing clothes. Is it nipples and/or kitten outline?

I thought some of these numbers were dodgy, especially France, so I went to your source and found that their figures are based on the following: " Definition: International inbound tourists (overnight visitors) are the number of tourists who travel to a country other than that in which they have their usual residence, but outside their usual environment, for a period not exceeding 12 months and whose main purpose in visiting is other than an activity remunerated from within the country visited. When data on number of tourists are not available, the number of visitors, which includes tourists, same-day visitors, cruise passengers, and crew members, is shown instead. Sources and collection methods for arrivals differ across countries. In some cases data are from border statistics (police, immigration, and the like) and supplemented by border surveys. In other cases data are from tourism accommodation establishments. For some countries number of arrivals is limited to arrivals by air and for others to arrivals staying in hotels. Some countries include arrivals of nationals residing abroad while others do not. Caution should thus be used in comparing arrivals across countries. The data on inbound tourists refer to the number of arrivals, not to the number of people traveling. Thus a person who makes several trips to a country during a given period is counted each time as a new arrival." I'll let fellow Aseanners form their own opinion.

Frakking hilarious, you can't ascertain anything with the naked eye. These cords are given for a given number of jumps, and age even when unused. The environment (temperature mostly) will also impact the ageing. So when your gear is given for two years or 500 jumps [for instance] you just throw it away once you've past either of these limits. Very un Thai I must admit...

CODING ERA: Next Wave of Thailand’s Education
KiChakayan replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Parochial vision of IT, on my projects "coding" represented 5 to 10% of the effort. When too much <deleted> was generated by "coders" it was time to iterate back, often as far back as use cases.. or further.. -

The Banshees is the kind of movies that at the Cannes festival. Even though they make outlandish decisions at times, remember "Uncle Boonmee"... -
Would be harsh, [Gang] rape, throughout the world, should be 20 years followed by chemical castration under medical control, or 5 years only with a bilateral orchiectomy.
