  1. Aircon at Fitness 7 is on 24 hours in the first room. The second big room never had aircon, this is why the gym is cheap, your friend must be a genius or inject too much steroids.

1500 thb fitness is the best choice in town but I will now let the morons who have never been there tell you how bad it is...

I used to eat a whole chicken for lunch almost every day. The best ones are from your local shop around the corner.. at least for taste.

I once went to a famous local restaurant with a Thai guy and ordered a grilled chicken. I was very disappointed, as it was mostly just bone and skin. I asked the guy, <deleted> is this? He explained to me that this is actually the high quality chicken because it's not filled with hormones like those fat ones. Any thoughts?

Nothing to think about, this is absolutely the truth. GAI BAAN in Thai are free range chicken and because they can more and are not filled with hormones and other poisons, do not because as big as the 45 days chicken.

You guy is smart and I wish that more people understand this.

    famous?

it been around for years, i have known about it and been buying it for at least 10, if not longer.

i suspect that its not famous only because you have never heard of it

It's not famous because 99% or more restaurants in this country that sell good beef IMPORT IT ! understand ?! not so difficult right ?!

If the Thai french beef was as good and cheaper than imported meat I guess that all restaurants would use it. So who is wrong here ?

I am not sure you are quite up to date, Sheryl.

    1. 1000 Baht is $30.19 (at median rates!) so in a perfect world you would only be getting 19 cents change which is 770 Riel.

    2. They will ask for 1500 to 1700 Baht.

Are you thinking of the old days when the visa was $20?

Exactly ! But they never dare to ask me more than 1500 and I never paid more than $35 (with a smile).

Actually in my experience what they ask for is 1000 baht (about $35) and people have trouble getting any change back from that. But if you have $30 in USD they should accept it.

Sorry but really wrong. They ask 1500 thb, not 1000 !

This is why paying in $ is the best solution, but they also try to refuse...

Another place that features European rotisserie chicken is the chain called the Kitchen. But I haven't tried it. They are on eatigo though so you can get a discount. Ate there once to try their lamb shank. Not impressed.

    This one ?

Laem Thuat pier is here – but don't count on bringing a car over from that pier. The car-ferries depart from Raja Ferry's pier in Don Sak, Sakon Port (links are to detailled Google-maps)...

I don't know why my first search showed me Laem thuat pier but now I found only donsak and there are direct boats all day:

I had one a few years ago. Not all that effective, and the battery only cycled for a few recharges before giving up completely.

I'd say the suggestion about paying a cabbie for a jump start would be a lot simpler and cheaper.

Sorry but I am not looking for anything cheaper than 1000 thb in this life :-) It's already so cheap, even if it works only 1 time it deserves its price in my opinion.

And when you stay somewhere without anybody around to help, it's a lot safer to have one.

If your battery was totally dead of course it cannot work well.

If you want a battery jump starter - the green/black one from lazada works pretty well, I purchase mine from lazada as well. The capacity is normally not 55000mah though. I've jump start bmws, toyotas, and hondas no problem.

If you want a cable jump starter, don't get a cheap cable, get a branded quality one. Cheap cables don't have the capacity to pass on the current / voltage.

The CTEK one is a battery charger, not jump starter. I have this and its excellent for charger.

Yes I checked all the pictures and some powerbank jump started advertised as 55000+ have 13000 written on the box !

But as you confirmed that the green and black works I will buy this one.

    Thank you.
