AIS, DTAC, True are the big 3 providers. They're all pretty similar in pricing with many different packages to choose from.

A great useless reply to someone who lived in Thailand so many years !

    And anyway it's wrong.

Dtac is way cheaper and better in all circumstances. I have been using the 3 carriers for more than 10 years.

    https://www.dtac.co.th/en/prepaid/products/4g-non-stop.html
    4.5 GB 399 baht / month
    9 GB 699 baht / month
    12 GB 799 baht / month

    http://www.ais.co.th/one-2-call/maomaoontopnet/en/?intcid=4g:th:4g_packages:one-2-call_package_section:maomao
    5 GB 488 baht / month
    14 GB 888 baht / month

    http://truemoveh.truecorp.co.th/topping/3g_internet_package_en.html
    3 GB 399 baht / month
    6 GB 699 baht / month

    These are prepaid plans.

If you choose postpaid, dtac is even cheaper, I got 16gb for 500/month.

  2. Hello,

Does it exist ? Chicken breast (frozen), good quality that is not watery/mushy and not "enhanced" or "plumped" ?

Or all frozen chicken breast is low quality processed food by the agro industry scammers ?

I know tat fresh is always better, but sometimes you don't go out and it's handy to have some frozen, but I cannot find good quality at any supermarket in Thailand, why ?

    Cheers.

    Hi/.

I have just upgraded my dash cam this week (about 1,000 baht) dual lens (front and back). from Lazada!

includes now G-Spot (accident) and park mode! - this would cover that situation (comes on for 20 seconds or so) also have movement detector now!

    170 degree angle now!

seems alot better models out now!

    cheers

Can you tell me which one you bought ?

And can anybody compare the xiaomi with the G1W ?

G1W is reliable, but is the xiaomi better ?

    Similar ?

    Thanks.

Very overpriced here on the shelves.

I bought one on Lazada for 700 baht and totally happy with it. Great night vision recording.
Have all the functions it need to have.

Which one did you buy ?

I've had this one for a few months and it works great...

It has has a nice english smartphone app that allow easy setting of things... you can view everything on the app...

Before I had a cheapy one and after a few week I took out the micro sim and went to view the clips on my computer and found that ALL of the clips on the sim were unreadable and corrupted!... so anyone who has a cam might make sure that it is actually making usable recordings...

Other things to consider are the view angle which seems to vary from 130-180 degrees... I would not recommend one that is on the low(130 side...

also so look at the image quality... below HD quality and the videos are not really that good...

    Hello,

it's cheap also, can you compare it with the famous G1W ?

    Thank you.

  6. hello,

is the G1W still the best cheap dashcam in Thailand ? Or which one did you bought for less than 2000 baht ?

I only know Moretech as reliable source for the G1W in Thailand, but the price is still the same years after, so maybe you know another seller selling the good G1W for cheaper ?

    I found this one:

I am now working in Nong Sung for the next 3 days. Just drove past their place. Seems to be renovations going in front with new offices and a restaurant being built.

We are talking about two different places. Pon Yang Kham is over in Sakhon Nakhon. The Nong Sung outpost is just that. An outpost. Same mother company but a branch. I still stand by my comments about the beef not being as good as Aussie beef. Maybe it is because the shop seems to have only frozen cuts and not fresh chilled cuts.

Takes 2 and half hours driving from Ubon to get to Nong Sung (that is with a coffee break). Up highway 212 to Nikhom Kham Soi. Turn left into highway 2370 and drive 37 km to Nong Sung. The slaughter house is 2 km out of town on the highway 12 back towards Mukdahan.

It's obvious that if it was as good restaurants would sell only this beef and not over expensive imported beef.

One of the things I really like about Thailand is color is not near as important as it is in the West.  Sure there are some folks who think Thai Chinese people are brighter than the average Thai but they are too loony for me to talk to or associate with.  All the people I know don't discriminate based on color and that includes value of go go dancers.  Your mileage may vary and maybe you know more about go go dancers than I.  Who am I to say.

If you only know dark people, for sure they do not care about other people skin...

Poule de bresse are actually for sale in Thailand,i have seen some.

These chickens are famous for their taste and quality of meat.

It was very hard in the past to find any of these birds alive outside of France, now also a lot of eggs are available.

however just having these birds does not mean you get the meat that is so boasted about, they eat a very strict diet and i believe you even have to feed them buttermilk.

I agree, if they do not eat exactly what they are eating in France, they cannot be as good.

PRS has a very good cardio room but the free weights section is really small. Good changing rooms and a nice pool/sauna but it seems to have lost a few members. I have seen that there are a few new Russian gyms in the area and they look much better for the serious weight user. Still ok for a couple of months but on the way out.

2500/month and not better than fitness 7 except the pool.

Hi guys I am thinking of joining a gym. Does the one in the Avenue offer advice on how to use the equipment?

I went to a Tony's once but I didn't really know how to use the equipment so I never went back.

I live in Jomtien and don't drive so I need one I can get to with the Bhat buses. And I don't really want to pay more then 1500THB a month.

I ant that worried about the body building aspect of it. I just want to get fit. And loose a bit of weight.

Also I aways wondered about the showers in Gyms are they private?

I don't fancy getting in a shower room with a load of blokes to tell the Truth. You can luagh if you want. I can't imagine leaving the gym and getting back on the bus without one. So the that definitely puts me off.

1500, private showers, 10 free personal trainers doing nothing all day long ready to help you use the machines.

Some idiots seem to think that this gym is bad but for 1500 baht a month (and pay monthy without membership!) when the new standard in Thailand is 2500 for not always better gym, fitness 7 is the best deal if you want to train in aircon, except maybe for the champion mister universe style bodybuilders of this forum...

well hard to say why...but by experience IMHO customs/authorities in certain countries seem more tolerant with tourists then with their own citizens regarding certain import regulations; and one can understand such tolerance.

Any idea why ? Democracy !

They cannot do anything against tourists because unlike thailand don't jail people in EU if they do not have money to pay a fine (or pretend that they don't have).

So most of the time tourists can just go !

    99% percent or more?

whats your source on that statistic?

is it more famous now that you have heard of it?

Enough of your useless replies, can you please just look around ? Why is this forum full of idiots who keep replying when they have nothing useful and smart to say ? I GUESS THAT WE WOULD KNOW IT IF MOST RESTAURANTS SELLING GOOD BEEF IN THAILAND WHERE SELLING THAI BEEF, RIGHT ? or do I need to go back to univ !?

It's pretty obvious that some sour puppy's are unable to accommodate any sense of reasonable balance when discussing Thai products...  I really do wonder how these type of people get along from day to day when they are so bitter...  digression done with and moving back into the topic at hand...

Thai - French beef: Its perfectly reasonable.... I've found it to be a little hit and miss on occasions, but for the most part I find it quite good value for money especially when cutting a 2" thick Rib eye for the BBQ and sharing with friends...

Kasetsart University Beef is also pretty good eating.

None of these are comparable to Black Angus neither could they ever be as tender as Wagyu - but thats not the point of this thread...  Both Thai-French and KU beef offer excellent value for money IMO.

So most restaurants selling good beef keep importing because no Thai beef can compete with imported one ? Or maybe they are as stupid as me and never tried it ?
