  1. And it’s mostly ICE That’s why the figures are given separately for EV, ICE and Hybrid
  2. I thought since the anti-EV'ers were being ridiculous, I would join in.
  3. Just some advice, I think the agents are all pretty poor. They get a much higher percentage commission from a developer for selling a new unit, you will actually get the best deal from a motivated seller who may take anything above half what he's asking.
  4. We can all hate the accurate statistics posted and ask for more and more meaningless and impossible to get statistics, but it's pointless. There are accurate stats out there and EV's are about 10 times less likely to catch fire than an ICE vehicle - period.
  5. Someone already has - twice A few posts above here, one came out at 5 per billion miles, the other at 3.1 (you will need to ask them for the source)
  6. I had a car fire once....oh hang on, correction it was a ham sandwich.
  7. With over a million Teslas on the road in the US, you could estimate their combined miles from a typical average of (say) 10k miles per year per car and be somewhere in excess of 20 billion miles.
  8. Not yet, and were it legal, I'd be willing to wager you that it won't, would you take that wager?
  9. Meaningless. Please quote COMPARATIVE statistics, EV's to ICE, not ICE alone, it means nothing. I quoted excellent COMPARATIVE data compiled by the US Government.
  10. Lots & lots of solid data, not least from the NTSB, Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS), Recalls.gov and AutoinsuranceEZ.com who compiled statistics from these sources. More than a million EV's on the road in USA.
  11. That is because they never got paid for building the expressway.
  12. Especially your postman
  13. It sounded great... Then you had to go and spoil it.
  14. There is no point in having a relationship with a man under 26 years old or a woman under 24 years old. Brains are still developing until this point and any relationship is unlikely to last. For the same reason, the same age limits should apply to using THC as it adversely affects the developing brain. Brain Maturity Extends Well Beyond Teen Years : NPR
  15. To be accurate, the teacher is not a paedophile, nor is he a heberphile, actually he is a Ephebophile. Thank god for Gerontophiles.
  16. Definitely set it to the rating of the inverter (6Kw ?) I think that is your problem.
  17. I would buy a plug in voltmeter on Lazada and plug it in a socket and see how high it gets before it resets. Crossy will probably know what the permitted voltage is, probably 253v or something like that, if it's hitting that then shutting off you will know it is a weak grid. Alternatively, try turning on a few heavy loads (air cons on cold etc) and see if it still happens, if it doesn't the problem is a weak grid. You could try removing a few panels until it doesn't happen (or enjoy the cool air). I have 2 grid-tied inverters and 2 of mine will do the same, I've cadenced the voltages so they go off in succession until they are happy.
  18. My solar system is Grid-Tied, I don't cycle my LFP batteries (28.8KwHr), I keep them for power cuts. I did once consume 0 units, usually my bill is about 70-120 baht. We average 66 KwHrs of power production per day over the last 26 months, about 22Kw of panels and 18Kw of Grid-Tied inverters. One or two of my inverters often shutdown because we have a weak grid and can't pump out more than about 8Kw, which makes sunny days ideal for charging the EV's. My best days are about 110 KwHrs of production, but I have to be charging the EV to do that or it's wasted.
  19. Nice video, thanks for that. I hope the doors are electric as shown in the video, and I like how they have done the dashboard, I much prefer flat panels integrated into the dash than floating. I didn't spot any Chinese faces? maybe off camera? maybe they wrote the script? And I hope the batteries are LFP, but I suspect they will be NMC to get the power density.
  20. I think the Brit Dynamic badges are hilarious, a completely meaningless badge. I hate the badge indicating the latest fad, they age quickly, like ABS, Power Steering, 90hp, Fuel Injection etc etc
  21. We get a few power cuts each year, mostly in the rainy season. Occasionally it will go out exactly at 9am, it's either on again in 5 minutes (hooking up a new house somewhere nearby) or stays off till 4:30pm (trimming trees). Otherwise it's mostly off when a big storm for an hour, and we leave in the Central Chiang Rai postcode. We have weak power, the local transformer is 100 amp/phase and it serves maybe 30 houses. There are 6 large houses in our moo baan and probably about 50 A/C units. We were all on one phase until we kept blowing the fuse at the transformer. One evening the PEA maintenance van was stuck there shuffling fuses for an hour, new fuse and blown within 30 minutes. They moved our development to 2 houses per phase. We do have a problem with weak supply, not a massive issue but it's not ideal.
  22. This is all the cr?p the guy at my car wash removed
