No, it's not an recommendation, it's what they want. A 70 + year old German in Surin/Isaan was told the same.
It is a recommendation, just because you say that "it's what they want" does not make it law.

Can I ask why Tylenol?
Could also be Paracetamol or anything, just something you need to go to a Pharmacy for, whether you really go or not - it was meant ironic......
Although most people would agree that being outside for no good reason is a bad idea at the moment, no one has to justify why they're not at home, good grief.

Has the question been definitively answered? Is it the law or just advice and guidance?
Just advice.

you should only go out to immigration when required. Thai law
no it is not.
you can go shopping for food, pharmacy and hospital.
many nonessential stores are still open with exception of bars, entertainment.
Quite right, anyone can go out for any reason that they want...I went out to the bank today so did plenty of other people. All the government advisories are just that, recommendations, not law.

Nonsense.

if not handled properly after about a week there can be a half formed chick in there. Here in Thailand nearly all the eggs are fertile
That's complete nonsense unless the bird had mated with a rooster and commercial egg farms have no reason to allow that as the hens lay eggs regardless. Why would commercial egg farms, which is where most of our eggs come from, want to supply fertilised eggs with partly developed chicks inside for consumption?
"Eggs that run all over the pan are more to do with the health of the chicken than storage".
Generally, that's incorrect also; the most common cause of watery whites is just the age of the egg. Eggs stored in high temperatures will have the ageing process speeded up and cause whites to become watery.

Since the photo shops are closed
There has been one for years in Soi 13, near the Miami Hotel but I can't be sure that it's still there.
Photo shops specifically are not on the list of closed businesses, are you sure they're all closed? I've always used the one near Suk Soi 7/1 under the Nana BTS station.

They have not "withdrawn from any Royal connection" and your view of their status doesn't affect their status. They do not have diplomatic passports.
Another poster did assert that Harry had a diplomatic passport.
That poster's information was incorrect, the royal family use ordinary passports.

I need to get my normal 1 year "Retirement" extension. I have gotten it since 2015 meeting all the requirements.
This year I'm told to stay home. Do not go anywhere. The Prime Minister says I could be arrested and fined if I did.
"The Prime Minister says I could be arrested and fined if I did".
He didn't say that you could be arrested for not staying at home. No one is being arrested for going outside.

Some agent can do it but the 1200 baht "fee" is what make it an obvious scam.
So some agents provide their services for no fee?

So nice to know that the fraudsters at immigration care about us not being ripped off by anyone else.
How exactly do the Immigration officers at the Immigration offices defraud applicants?

He doesn't, neither do any of the other royals but the Queen does have sovereign immunity.
Royals on duty do & as a rule of thumb I would think it came with being an HRH.
They don't, they use normal passports and no royals, except for the Queen, get 'diplomatic' immunity.

The two of them abdicated and withdrew from any Royal connection so they have no status as far as I am concerned. And they should not have diplomatic status or passports.

Not "being lazy" (?), sort of using your quote and definitely not making up stories, perhaps it's you making up stories.

You think that closing all shops is a good idea? Are you one of those hoarders or do you just not have any requirement for food?
If you can't understand irony... and if you do not know the meaning of "virtue signaling"... there is nothing i can do for you.
I write for people who can still use their brain.
What makes you think that you may be able to "do anything" for anyone or that you "write for" anyone? You write for yourself, that's all.
Shame about your lame insult.

One day I decided that we were going to replace this linoneum with tiles.
When we removed the linoleum, there were multiple ant nests between it and the concrete floor.Oh. How interesting. Maybe you should have cleaned it more often.

It's all still recommendation regarding the elderly in order to safeguard them and, obviously, avoid putting unnecessary extra pressure on an already strained health system.
