  1. Having learned the subject of the police visit was Allison Pearson, a Telegraph reporter, we also learn she has limited view of ‘Remembrance Day’, here’s her reported statement on the matter: "Today, we are commemorating British men who gave their lives so we could live in a free country,” Here’s what the Royal British Legion have to say: “Remembrance honours those who serve to defend our democratic freedoms and way of life. We unite across faiths, cultures and backgrounds to remember the service and sacrifice of the Armed Forces community from United Kingdom and the Commonwealth. We will remember them.” Many of whom were not British, and from across all faith groups found across the commonwealth and the then empire. Now if Allison Pearson can just rattle her head and tell us what it is she’s been posting we might all see if it’s something that honors the Remembrance she has chosen to evoke in her complaint. https://www.britishlegion.org.uk/get-involved/remembrance/about-remembrance

  3. How did your woke fixation get in here? Oh, you introduced it.

  7. The law defines the difference, the courts decides if the law has been broken.

  9. Oddly the person who is said to be the subject of this police visit is not named, so there no way of checking the veracity of the claims. The Telegraph really is becoming a comic.
  10. No because clearly distance to school is something that can be dealt with.
  11. I know a family who’s children travel from Didcot to Reading and Didcot to Henley for (state) school. I suggest you ask the school.
  12. I’m sure that makes some kind of set to you. School doesn’t make anyone clever or stupid.
  13. So you do have a problem with privilege being reserved for the rich, it’s just where the line is drawn that bothers you.
  14. Why in travelling distance from Banbury? Are all the children attending the Corrdus School from Banbury? I would be surprised if that were the case.
  15. Here you go: https://snobe.co.uk/best-state-schools/oxfordshire
  16. Probably not a good idea to pick one on the ropes.
