  1. You and I are both not in the exact same position, we are neither of us members of the jury. But at least we’ll both soon get to hear the outcome of their deliberations.
  2. I’ve linked the indictment on at least two occasions since Defendant Trump was placed on trial.
  3. It demonstrates he is able and willing to man-up and admit to his wrong doing. Definitely more credible than someone who denies responsibility, blames everyone else and refuses to defend himself under oath.
  4. Reminding you once again. The Jury will decide what has and has not been proven. It won’t be long now until they do.
  5. There’s that green envy of yours again. ‘Snout in the political trough’. Do you have evidence that Starmer has obtained any of his money other than by wholly legal and above board means? Or are you engaging in green envy driven baseless innuendo?
  6. Putting aside what looks like a big broad stipe of green envy running through your posts, what’s wrong with making money by working for it?
  7. So he earned his place at this selective grammar school. And then received earned a bursary. Then went on to demonstrate academic excellence.
  8. While the PM cons the gullible with ‘Stop the boats’ from his lectern, the gap between his words and the Government’s actual policies grows wider in the background: https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/article/2024/may/14/home-office-department-processing-rwanda-deportations-told-to-cut-jobs
  9. The way the polls are headed the LibDens might wind up as the Opposition.
  10. The ‘Sir’, a life long member of the Labour Party, son of ordinary working people who cut his legal teeth as a young lawyer working pro-bono cases and worked for everything he has, including his knighthood, and who has consistently demonstrated his commitment to improving the lives of ordinary working people. You‘ll get an answer to your question once Rishi has stopped hiding from the electorate.
  11. Your posting history of grossly generalized pejorative views direct at immigrants, in your latest offering extending to generations of their offspring, is all the explanation I need of the cause behind your ‘strange logic’. We can of course come back to this the next time you kick off about immigrants, I doubt it will be long coming.
  12. I will accept the jury verdict whatever that verdict is, you can hold me to that. You on the other hand will not.
  13. All we are hearing from Defendant Trump’s supporters right now is them lining up their excuses for not accepting the verdict in the event the jury hands down a conviction.

  15. From strange to even more strange. You’re on a roll.
  16. That’s a strange take on the reality of who’s liberty is at stake in this trial, but if it gives you comfort go with it.
  17. Successful criminal prosecutions frequently rely on the testimony of people who are themselves convicted felons. Prosecutors negate the past behavior of their ‘flawed witnesses’ by use of corroborating testimony from multiple other witnesses and corroborating hard evidence. Cohen’s part in the Prosecution’s case is not to provide new revelations of Defendant Trump’s crimes, rather to link the events and acts that others have already testified to and for which hard evidence has already been presented. It’s for the Jury to decide, and it’s getting very close to the time when they will; which perhaps explains the histrionics we’re having to put with from the Defendant’s supporters.
  18. I don’t watch FOX News for FACTS, it’s entertainment.
  19. Odd that you mention Obama. I tuned into FOX News for both his Presidential Election wins. Unmissable TV.
  20. I’m rather hoping he will be convicted. But that will be down to the Jury non of whom I know or know anything about, I doubt you don’t know them either. So it will come down to the evidence, the testimony and what the Jury make of it all. As I have said many times, I will accept the Jury’s verdict and yes you can hold me to that. I do hope we get a bit of notice before the verdict is handed down, I need to retune my TV to get FOX News for the occasion.
  21. The Prosecution have listed only one more witness, which suggests this case might very well go forward to jury deliberations within the next week.
  22. Knife crime has been tackled in the UK before; Glasgow, once known as the murder capital of Europe took a different approach to blaming immigrants or ‘blacks’ and it worked: https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/13624806231208432
