There’s a great deal more to denying citizens the right to vote than applying ID requirements. Times and days of voter station opening. Number and location of voter stations. Under staffing of voter stations. Intimidation of voters queuing at voter stations. The list goes on.

You assert they speak out, some do I’m sure, many do not. You haven’t criticized the speech that is the subject of this thread either, you’ve excused it with your argument that amounts to ‘they’ve brought this on themselves’. How about politicians staying out of the sexuality of others?

I read the OP to the thread you are responding in. But yes I get your point, you really don’t like people speaking out, you’d much prefer they kept quiet, except of course if they are rightwing politicians singling out a minority group for hate.

Pitting aside it’s the rightwing extremists doing all the shouting, you seem to have a problem with the first amendment.

Transgender people are part of the public, citizens, members of the body politic, they are an inseparable part of public life. Rightwing hate mongering will not change that, but it will almost certainly give rise to an increase in hate crimes against transgender people. And look who’s defending the hate monger.

Are any of those individuals alive? One bunch of religious extremists does not excuse the hate being propagated by another.

I started cycling at 14 years old, classification school boy. Later male junior, Under 21 male, Senior Male 3rd Cat, 2nd Cat, 1st Cat, Professional male, and now Veteran male. Throughout which I frequently raced against girls and women and combinations of the above categories. Prizes were always awarded for category. It seems somebody has has forgotten how to do that. Which is odd, since due to numbers of competitors very many sports events open to girls and women would not take place if they didn’t compete alongside boys and men. Just add another category and award prizes according to category.

Apply for a new UK license using your mother’s address. You are then a licensed UK driver. Then get your mum to add you to her insurance. Jobs a good ‘n’.
