  1. The evidence is he’s eaten up with hatred. No amount of money will fix that.
  2. By the age of 18 most people have learned communication is a two way thing. You say something, gesture something and others hear, read what you are communicating. If you offend people, you might suffer consequences. If you are smart, you don’t do it within arms reach. If you are smarter you figure out avoiding the immediate consequences of offending people is not the only reason not to go around offending people. Scott Adams is a racist. I don’t feel the need to defend him or deflect from that observable truth.
  3. Nevertheless the remarks made by Scott Adams were racist, he got some payback. Speech is free, but not free of consequences.
  4. Racist rant solicits self stroking grievance pouting from right wingers and you blame the left. Nobody forced Scott Adams to open his mouth and spew racism, he wasn’t controlled by some imaginary lefty wokeism, he spewed racism because he’s a racist.
  5. No it is not about ‘England and Ireland’ It’s between the UK, Eire and the EU.
  6. While House Republicans ‘investigate the issue’ they might want to cast an eye over this, but I somehow doubt they will: https://www.reuters.com/article/us-health-coronavirus-china-cdc-exclusiv-idUSKBN21C3N5
  7. Sunak’s spots the glaringly obvious, and then opens his mouth and talks about it: https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2023/feb/28/sunak-northern-ireland-access-uk-eu-markets-trade-deal
  8. It’s what’s know as a loaded question. Fools fall for it.
  9. British people can still get married, they just have to wait until they are adults.
  10. Yet another example of a Republican accusation turning out to be a confession. It’s a thing.
  11. The NI Protocol is a direct result of Brexit.
  12. I’ll tell you what I am not. I’m not the topic of discussion.
  13. He’s done a great job wrapping the NI Protocol in some pretty paper and selling it to the Tories and DUP without actually changing it. Border in the Irish Sea, no hard border between NI and Eire, ECJ retains role as final arbiter of EU law as it impacts the Protocol and Trade between the EU and NI. The more interesting development is the clear break from deliberately antagonizing the EU to a more pragmatic and cooperative approach.
  14. There is no Constitutional right to carry a gun on anyone else’s private property or within the bounds of private premises. High time for US businesses to start looking after the safety of their customers and ban firearms from their premises.
  15. Pick a random religious extremist view, and then compare posts in this thread with that religious extremist view.
  16. Well make your mind up. Do women have autonomy over their own bodies or what?
  17. The British Royal family are the most notable example of first cousin marriage. Which in any case isn’t the topic of discussion. Sorry to interrupt your flow.
  18. You’ve just changed the definition of ‘foreign’. I know two people who were married at sixteen, both definitely long time British. This is a very positive change to the law.
  19. FOX does however have a long history of trouble reporting the facts.
