  1. You’ve quoted my post, now can you point to the part that mentions ‘Brexit’?
  2. Everyone’s back to work, COVID is a background issue. COVID is not driving up prices and poverty.
  3. The main issue right now, head and shoulders above everything else, is the cost of living crisis, inflation and rising poverty.
  4. I’m witnessing it close up right now and listening to what people are saying. I’m looking forward to the upcoming bi-elections.
  5. You don’t mind the PM lying, we got that. However, very many people do mind, hence they comment on the matter.
  6. She was reported to the police, tge police investigated and then did not issue her a fine. If there was evidence of a crime, the police didn’t find it. Tge police did however find evidence of Johnson remaking the law and they issued him a fine.
  7. No evidence of a crime, no fine. But that’s not good enough for you, you don’t have a fine to refer to so you invent some police skullduggery necessary to explain why you have been deprived of anything to back up accusation you are so keen to make. But then, you have nothing to back up your claims of police skullduggery. There’s a reason why it’s called ‘circular logic’.
  8. What’s available and what people can afford are two different things. I’ll be helping out at a food bank this afternoon, it’s a real eye opener.
  9. With two bi-elections in early June, we’ll soon get to see what the public think of Johnson’s performance. Wakefield (Tory sex offender). Tiverton and Honiton (Tory ‘Tractor Porn’ addiction).
  10. As I said earlier, I’ve not been following the ‘Sturgeon News Story’. Did she get fined?
  11. Yes it was, hence this thread, The British Prime Minister broke the rules his government put in place and then lied and lied and lied about it. I do understand you want to excuse Johnson, I get that.
  12. I didn’t mention Sturgeon because I’ve not been following that ‘News Story’. Starmer has already been investigated cleared, this diversionary investigation will also clear him, photos of him eating and drinking at a work related gathering that was already investigated and not breaking any rules are not new evidence, they are a smoke screen for Johnson’s multiple partying events. Again, your logic ‘somebody (not Starmer) broke the rules therefore the rules were not necessary’ is absurd. Some people regularly drive above the speed limit, it’s not evidence that there should not be a speed limit or that driving at high speed is not dangerous.
  13. And refuses to release the advice he received from UK security services to the Parliament's Intelligence and Security Committee. Nothing to hide, nothing to fear.
  14. Starmer did not break the rules. He was investigated and cleared. The diversionary request for a second investigation will come to nothing. Regardless, people breaking the rules is not evidence that the COVID virus was not as dangerous as the medical experience advised. Your suggestion tgat it was is absurd.
  15. No EU court has jurisdiction over war crimes, that’s the European Court of Human Rights under the Council of Europe. COVID is not the Flu Yes, many people did catch COVID, it wasn’t such a good experience for those that were not vaccinated.
  16. You might recall, that by example, fishing quotas and the laws around fishing quotas were discussed at the time. You might also recall legal ‘experts’ giving their opinions and the response from Brexit supporters ridiculing the views of experts on the grounds that they were ‘experts’.
  17. Can you point to the clause in the lockdown regulations to back up your claim. I suggest you send a link to Johnson too, because he hasn’t been able to make that argument, of course he hasn’t, because it’s a claim based on nothing. Just admit it, he broke the law. (Hence the fine).
  18. I was in the Netherlands last week, it’s doing far better than the UK, as is most the developed world: https://www.newstatesman.com/chart-of-the-day/2022/04/the-uk-is-once-again-the-sick-man-of-europe The UK is suffering high inflation and pitifully low growth.
  19. No, the regulations were still in place. And let’s be clear, several Downing Street Parties held over months throughout periods when lockdowns were in place.
  20. I’m in the UK. Refer my earlier post on the mess this place is in.
  21. Irrelevant argument and whataboutary. Vaccination status and the actions of others do not excuse breaking the law.
  22. Nonsense, the nationalists, who you correctly state have won a majority are not demanding changes to the protocol (Part of the UK/EU treaty), it’s the DUP, who don’t have a majority, who are demanding the protocol be abandoned.
