I would like to know my options, and knowledge from others that had similar experience. When through a (3) yrs divorce case at Thai court with Thai wife. Marriage registered and signed at the Thai Embassy where we were both were living at the time, and also registered in Thailand. The court give the ruling of the divorce and handed me a legal copy of same. Now to get this bit of "Divorce Certificate" at the Ampur here as she does not want to sign. All said, she was the one that applied to the court for a divorced and I happily agreed. Court was because we have a kid not born here but in the marriage. She wanted Sole Custody and the Thai court said no to her. I would like to know. 1). Forget this bit at the Ampur as, this divorce certificate is only valid here in Thailand written in Thai and required to show one's status here really, and no other country cares about that. Only the Thai court order is their importance. Translated and stamped my the MFA of Thailand. Also I have no desire to remarry in Thailand. 2). So translate the Thai court order, which clearly states you are divorced blah blah. Take that to MFA after translation as it was handed down by the Thai court get it legalized use that as my Divorce any other part of the planet except Thailand. Which would state I am a divorce person. Should I ever have to show that elsewhere as being divorced. I know in Thailand one require a Divorce certificate from the Ampur to be consider divorce here in Thailand. But that really is only valid in Thailand. Again I have no desire to remarry here in Thailand, hence I honestly do not need a divorce certificate from any Ampur. But to be considered legally divorced elsewhere. 3). Is there a time limit here for her to sign or that can be forever? Just asking as the Ampur does not have a clue about any court.

This is strange. All Canadians can enter Canada on an expired passport that is in Service Canada Law. One cannot leave this way, only entered as a Canadian He should have just bought his Ticket show the agent at the airport the law and leave. The Thai immigration officer at the Airport would of course questioned this and have him pay the overstay fee and maybe blacklisted.

I write this to state, that I have been to Bangkok Immigration Office at CW, and was told by the extension renewal officer (7) days they will accept the English Bank statement and Thai Certificate. In my humble opinion, best play safe and give a (1) or (2) days documents.

My first NON-O extension with BKK immigration and will like to know, what are the validity period of the Thai and the English Bank certificate and statement are? If my appointment is at 09:00 O'clock on a Monday, or on a Tuesday, can I obtain these letters for immigration in BKK Friday if on Monday or Monday if on a Tuesday? Nonthaburi Immigration Office, these letters were valid for (7) days from the date of issue, but I know all immigrations offices have different rules. node

Cannot agree with you more, the best to do with Thais are take a photo, the actual project or board if possible, name of the part in Thai. Most will help you or direct any to the place.

There are (5) circular holes of various sizes. Those I can handle. (1) square hole 10mm x 10mm (1) rectangle hole 5mm wide x 36mm long (1) rectangle hole 12mm wide x 54mm long The Material is hard plastic, no more that 2mm thick. I am considering buying a "hot knife" by Lazada the kind that plug into the house outlet and set the temperature, them cut through this material.

I have a small project and would like to know, where in Bangkok one can find an individual or company that can put small circle, square and rectangular holes into hard plastic type material? I have the template, require an individual or company that does such a job for an electronic project. I reckon one that works great with a Dremel or another machine that does this. Thanks.

I flew with Thai into the LOS last week, and was asked for my onward ticket out of LOS until I showed the lad my visa. A couple with two kids also on the same flight had to buy (4) ticket on the spot to Sydney to get on the flight. They wanted to spend a few days in Thailand then look at tickets. The airline would be fined for bringing in a visitor that does not have an onward ticket if they do not hold the right to live in that country.

My job require us to do this on a random selection basis, before work and sometimes after work, by an independent firm. This is what should be done. All should also take a psychological test every year.

The letter & Bank statement must not be over (7) days. Checking from the day you received it, and including the you go to the immigration office. Your bank book as stated in one of the above post, must be updated on the day you go there. And copied. Do not forget the house location map / couple of passport photos / Marriage certificate / wife change of name certificate, (if she changed it) / wife ID card / house book / your yellow house book if you got one / Child; Children Birth paper / Pictures of you wife & child / children in the ( Living Rm / Dinning Rm / Kitchen / One showing house number with you all / Bedroom ( note, all photos (2) per 8x4 page) / TM30 and/or last 90 days reporting slip / your passport detail pages copy / plus all pages in your passport with any Thai immigration stamp in it / Application form / Over stay : obligation form/ all copied checked signed / most importantly your application money / if this is your first extension, they would come knocking on your door, and want to meet your neighbors. Make sure you offer them a cold beverage. Nonthaburi can be a rouge IMO.

Would help Thailand if they would employed an independent firm and do a full psychological evaluation of all personnel "captain to cook" in the RTP / Army / Navy / Air force, and weed out the bad apples. I think 95% would fail. Doing this would mean Thailand do do not have any security personnel. Then again, they would just be moved to an inactive post and reinstated once the dust clears.

I stated this here before, and was told by CW immigration. Since my last extension was not issues by Bangkok and I now moved to live in Bangkok, I must submit a TM30 on every re-entry back to Thailand until my next extension is done. Which will then be done by Bangkok immigration. Thereafter no need. On a different note: I entered Thailand in June 2022, at that time was given a TM6; I am at Suvarnabhumi now, handed the Immigration Officer my passport / boarding pass / TM6 / and was handed back the TM6 in my passport, I destroyed it and throw into the bin.

The Thai should give Türkiye tourist minister a call. One of the only place the Russians are allowed to go. However the hotels / restaurants / souvenir shops / tours operators / bars/ are all complaining that the Russians credit card does not work and these Russians have no cash. It is very strange how theses "falling off a balcony" cases of foreigners dealt with in the LOS. Nothing said of the following: Was there force entry: was anyone one else there with the person: was there a struggle: any blood found : was the door knob dusted for prints : CCTV footage : last known cell contact : was there a note written in the person handwriting: was monies withdrawn from the victim's bank account and when, was the person living alone or with someone, if the latter, was that person interviewed. I reckon by contacting the family 8000 miles away, they can provide the above to the RTP in this case. Advise to all foreigners living here in highrise, install added strong door catch as seen in hotels for your safety. Peaceful rest young soul.

The loss of a human life in any circumstances is a traget. In this situation a lot of pain and loss on both sides would be felt. Parents; family and friends of the departed. A father; husband; friends and parents of the accused also. If the clip of the video is accurate and not tampered with, the driver is / would be at fault. Driving without due care and attention; failing to do this and that; driving a vehicle that is not this or that; and negligence causing death while driving; would be some of his charges. His sentence, and he will be; most likely be manslaughter, and of cause a fine, plus payment of some value to the families of the kids. I am not sure, but in most places manslaughter carries 3-10 years maximum sentence. However that said, I am sure I read that the cop that killed the Doctor girl in Bangkok on the crosswalk got (1) year sentence, I stand corrected if wrong, and the family sue him and the RTP for $72mil THB. I would add, these kids were teenagers and as such still under the care of their parents, and who knows; no motorcycle license, motorcycle not registered at DoT for the year, carrying more than allowed on a motorcycle, driving above the speed limit, and the list can go on. Shouldn't the parents bear some of this responsibility, since these kids were underage. Then again, if this were even to be raised in a Thai court, it would not be looked upon nicely. RIP little ones.
