I must say that Hotels are getting pricey in Thailand. Once you add a child to your requirements, the price goes way up more than it should. Having 2 queen beds in one room seems just way more than the Thais can handle. Living in Thailand I'll continue paying but if I was flying in somewhere for a few weeks VN would spark interest. And they have great coffee.

I was raised in Ca. and still own multiple homes there. It's hard to lay blame on just Newsome for what's happening there but he surely is responsible for some of the lunacy. Just one small example is that all lawn mowers and weed eaters and gardening tools must be battery operated, no more gas. Now folks have to travel to Nevada for tools. Because of EV sales, gas tax is dwindling so now theirs talk of taxing vehicles based on milage driven.

There's a big difference in MH regulations in CA. On whether it's in a park or on bare land. I recently replaced a 2 bd 2 bath mobile which burned in a grass fire. With another 2 bd 2 bath mobile. Septic improvement adding 1 more leach line $8000. Inspection was $800. And then the permit fee. Run 140 ft water line and elect from pump to pole to MH was another $8000. The pole replacement was close to $6000. If the well hadn't survived. Around 50K for new one. Permits took 2 months. A big nightmare. Oh and then Fire Dept gets involved with drive way rules.

I recently lost a home on 20 acres in CA. USA to fire. I bought a 810 sq ft 2 bd 2 bath mobile. Cost was $100,000USD It was a demo model.
