    Less than 2% of golfers can play to scratch or better. Only 10% can play to a 5 handicap or better. Breaking one's age is even tougher, the percentage of golfers who can shoot their age on a course of 6000 yards is 0.000009%.

    No. IMO the winter so far in Chiang Rai is definitely warmer than last year. On a nominal scale of measurement, I only need a sheet to sleep under, and my GF has not resorted to her sheepskin Ugg boots. Last year, she wore them for 2 months.

    He is certainly pushing at the envelope with his comments directed at judges, prosecutors etc. It may be he gets jailed for contempt of court first. The other purpose of his rhetoric is squeezing out donations. because no lawyer will work for him without payment up front.

    IMO Trump resorting to ever more extreme rhetoric is a measure of his desperation. He knows he has to delay his four trials, and get re-elected as President. If he fails in either, jail is almost inevitable.

    For a fasting insulin test, I would be going to a pathology lab. The health clinic is merely a middleman. I use Mengrai Labs in Chiang Rai, and get charged the same as any Thai would pay.

    At the military course where I play, there are always caddies and groundstaff fishing in the watercourses. The only material I've ever seen put on the greens is sand.

    I think I will pass on the advice of someone who is murdering cabbage, and other innocent vegetables. Tried piloting a small aircraft over the Hamersley Ranges once. While I could do it, quite taxing keeping the aircraft level.

    My bank account name does not match my full name with WISE, so I sometimes get asked for verification. A screenshot of my bank transactions involving WISE, and a passport copy, fixes the problem. It is not consistent though. Occasionally I will get a transfer to my WISE balance waved through without any request for verification.

    I have noticed it is the people with poor hand-eye coordination who call the sport stupid, as it makes them look ridiculous when they try. The rest of your post puts your ignorance on full display.

    I received a text message from Thai Smile informing me my flight from CR to Bangkok had been cancelled. The message also informed me my new flight had an identical departure time and date to the cancelled flight. AFAICT the only difference is the coding, TG vs WE, same number. Bizarre, can someone familiar with aviation explain this please?

    Maybe I did not want the grammar and expression police either, but none of us get everything we desire in life. I have yet to meet a golfer who did not anthropomorphize several clubs in his bag from time to time.

    Swimming is good exercise; however, it is boring. In swimming, there is only the water to contend with. In golf, there is wind, rain, hazards and stimp readings as variables. An easy hole can become a monster overnight, with a wind change or pin placement.

    IMO a good round of golf is better than sex. It lasts a lot longer. IIRC it was Oscar Wilde who said of sex the position is ridiculous, the expense abominable, and the pleasure fleeting.
