  1. Hand it in, there are enough lowlifes already without my help. I once found a wallet when I was picking up a takeaway in Australia. Took it home, it had business cards in it. I phoned , and asked the guy who answered whether he had lost his wallet. Dead silence for about 30 seconds. I gave him my address, he was on my doorstep in 15 minutes. He was the local Repco manager, and mightily relieved. While the wallet didn't have a great amount of cash, the corporate credit card had a limit of $50,000. He did say he would discount anything in the store back to cost if I visited.
  2. Guaranteed rate on WISE for 21 hours now 24.31, some collapse I am seeing.
  3. IIRC the 10-12 yo's having babies in the Latin American countries go into puberty very early because of the hormones fed to chickens to stimulate fast growth.
  4. Everybody pays for sex, one way or another. The price tag can vary from a pack of cigarettes to a house.
  5. https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=acute+kidney+failure+death+rate+in+elderly I have had chronic lymphocytic leukemia for about 7 years. The specialist told me it is most probable I will die of something else. OTOH, if I had acute lymphocytic leukemia, my life span could be measured in months. In your eagerness to jump all over me, you are not even interested in the facts of what the terms acute and chronic mean. For questioning my veracity, and wilful ignorance, you go on my ignore list. Goodbye.
  6. Because they know what they are doing, and possibly enjoy themselves as well. No attraction to very young girls at all, why would I want sex with a terrified starfish?
  7. Dying of acute kidney failure is not the same as dying of CKD. Try learning the medical difference between the terms acute and chronic, OK?
  8. The OP seems to have no problem posting his grievance on ASEAN. Actually, I am faced with the situation in reverse. iHerb in the US has lost my business because some bean counter has decided it's a good idea to scrap the call center where I could talk to a human being about my current problem with all their products appearing in Thai on their website. Lazada has taken over, selling the same products in English on their website. I have never had a problem with Lazada, buy plenty of stuff through them.
  9. It depends on one's age, and how close they are to Type 2 diabetes. Carbs are really bad news for pre-diabetics; however, restricting them will usually cause a retreat in blood sugar to normal levels for most people.
  10. I'm not Trump, I don't have alternative facts, Feel free to put me on your ignore list if I upset you.
  11. I agree cashews are probably the tastiest, unfortunately they are on a par with peanuts for carb level.
  12. Almonds, Brazil nuts and macadamias are better for weight loss, don't think I have ever seen the latter two in a 7/11. Almonds maybe.
  13. Are you identifying yourself as the resident troll? Thank you. As I used to write research reports using terms you would probably have to Google, I think I can say my English is competent. And yes, it is my first language. Have you heard of the term grandfathering? Here you go: "A grandfather clause, or legacy clause, is an exemption that allows persons or entities to continue with activities or operations that were approved before the implementation of new rules, regulations, or laws." IMO pensioners living overseas who have not been taxed as non-resident will continue in that situation. The ATO is not interested in small fry. As I said, I am waiting for April 1 2023.
  14. I submitted a non-lodgment form in July, based on two previous returns where I either got a refund, or paid no tax. I have been in Thailand since February 2020. Due date for submitting tax returns is October, thus far I have heard nothing. Perhaps it is not due until March next year, when tax accountants are scheduled to submit returns on behalf of clients. If I get through to April next year without any communication from the ATO, I will conclude the resident troll is talking out of his a##e.
  15. That is rather a broad brush you are tarring Russians with, it's like saying all Americans are gun nuts. There was a pretty large number of Russians who left there when the war started, referred to as the brain drain. Leaving now does not necessarily make them lowlifes, just slower to catch on. You can bet if I was being at risk of being sent to a war with next to no training, inferior equipment, and lousy military leaders I'd be wanting out too. IMO that does not make me a coward.
  16. A guy who correctly predicted the meltdown of the subprime mortgage market in 2008, and made $457 million for his investors with his hedge fund, Scion Capital. There's a film about him, called "The Big Short."
  17. Having any relationship in a Western country longer than 12 months. A less expensive mistake is buying a house here for a Thai woman.
  18. It could be worth checking how many Russians have return flights to Moscow, IMO some may be flying to Thailand to avoid being conscripted. In which case, they are on the side of the angels.
  19. Michael Burry is predicting a major crash, and has sold every stock he owns. I daresay he has made a lot more money by following his own advice than you have.
  20. That's already happened in Australia, a Polestar EV was driven across the Nullarbor, accompanied by a truck with a diesel generator on board for recharging. But don't worry, the fuel for the two diesels was environmentally sustainable - recycled oil from fish and chip shops in Perth.
  21. Longer term, it sets you up for Type 2 diabetes. Feeling wobbly and nauseous is the result of what you did last night.
  22. Perhaps that's where the expression "no money, no honey" came from.
  23. None. A haven for sugar and carbohydrate junkies. Possibly the only product in there that can be remotely described as healthy are the probiotics, and even they have sugar.
  24. I'm in cash, precious metals, and peer-to-peer lending. Not really interested in casinos.
  25. Another expert at begging the question. I will leave it to other posters to decide who is wrong, or whether what I have posted is relevant, if they can be bothered to follow our rather tortuous exchange.
