What did you dream this morning, just before the dawn?

I saw Ricky Nelson live in Dallas, 1983. Women in the audience were passing their panties up to the stage. RIP. -

Phagocyte is an existing word. What are you, the grammar police? I wasn't aware being creative was a hanging offence on ASEAN. -

Democracy is Failing the Young – No Wonder They Want Change

You have heard of the term inflation, yes? My first house cost $14,000. I paid off the mortgage in 18 months. The same house today would cost about $800,000. It would take the average wage earner of today about 40-50 years to pay it off. I don't understand how you can say working class people are richer. The average American has $104,000 in debt. -

Combine the wealth of Musk, Bezos and Zuckerberg, and they have more than the lowest income 150 million Americans. Next question. -
I don't have any problem with deporting immigrants who are criminals, or are taking advantage of more generous social welfare. Having said that , I don't see any point in demonizing them. 40% of farm workers in America are undocumented. Deport them all, and the cost of the produce on supermarket shelves automatically goes up. IMO that looks awfully like the US is shooting itself in the foot, in the name of policy, or ideology.

Er - Biden had the stock market at record levels, and unemployment at record lows. Trump's trade war with China in his last term was a disaster for American farmers, who lost one of their biggest markets when China retaliated. IIRC it was an interview with Bob Woodward where Trump admitted he has downplayed the COVID pandemic in favor of the economy. At 1.1 million deaths, America had the highest number of deaths from COVID in the world. Excluding China, who doesn't publish any data. The first available vaccines in Thailand were Sinovac and AZ, American vaccines came later with a hefty price tag for the average Thai. A better question to ask is why Americans like Trump. It does say something about their character.

It's RFK jr, and putting a recovered heroin addict plus anti-fluoride/anti-vaxxer as health czar does not give me high hopes of America's future financial, mental, physical and dental health. IMO history would repeat itself, with a new batch of carpetbaggers. Any benefit to the Greenlanders would be transitory. -

I apologize for offending you with facts. If the SHTF, an American passport would be last on my list. IMO the one most likely to provoke extreme reactions. -

Hardly. The USA runs ninth, along with Estonia, according to the Henley passport index. Singapore is first. -

I see, you are too lazy to do a bit of research. Here, I'll help you: "Coprophagy is the scientific term for eating feces. It can refer to eating one's own feces, or the feces of another animal or species. The word comes from the Greek words kópros ("feces") and phageîn ("to eat")." Australians punch well above their weight in medical research and science generally. The black box recorder on every aircraft was invented by an Australian. The label of intellectual is usually applied by non-intellectuals, as a form of reverse snobbery. -

It would take a lot more than a measly million to get me into the American health and education system. What makes you think Greenlanders will want to give up their self-governing status? -

The art of comparison is not part of your education, obviously. I can explain it to you, I can't understand it for you. -

The real problem is the inequity gap between rich and poor, which has now expanded to cover the average person. That gap gets bigger every day. The average person is the most heavily taxed in most countries. The really rich pay teams of tax accountants and lawyers to minimize their taxes. There are any number of strategies, legal and illegal. Governments seem powerless to stop the march of oligarchy. I don't blame young people for getting angry, I had far more opportunity than they ever will, unless there is a revolution. -
