Trump's entire business empire is built on debt. He also has about 7 business bankruptcies behind him. Do you really think he is the one to sort US debt? Maybe Musk can, but at what cost? I feel sorry for the people who voted for Trump in the belief their lives will get better. If he doesn't cut their Social Security checks outright, the purchasing power will be eroded by the tariffs on Chinese goods.

Why would I want to be an American? I never had to teach my son how to avoid getting shot at school. I've never had to pay an arm and a leg for medications. Or mortgage my house for surgery. IMO every relationship evolves with time. My relationship with my GF started transactionally, it endured because we discovered we were sexually very compatible. With age, sex is very infrequent now. The problem for me is white coat syndrome. My systole goes up by 40 mm Hg any time I am near a clinic, doctor or hospital. I have proved this several times to doctors, by taking my home monitor along with me to consultations.

I am in a reasonably high spot in the city. My GF's house is situated in a high point in the village. Several of the neighbor's houses flood every year, we never have. If I lived in Bangkok or Florida, I'd want to be selling up ASAP. IMO northern Thailand is one of the better places to be in absorbing the effects of a changing climate. The thread title is " Do Thais understand sarcasm?" Opinions are mixed on whether they do, or not. I am normally easy-going. When in doubt, I always give way in traffic to be on the safe side. That does not mean I think I should become a doormat for every rude person with no manners that comes along.

So? A felon is a felon. Perhaps you have heard the phrase "Only in America" . Non-Americans use it quite often.

Please tell me what would prevent the judge from deciding to sentence a felon to prison.
