  1. I make and post videos on YouTube. It's a hobby, and a way of staying mentally active. I don't make money from it. My videos are a different genre to the people who cruise the streets of Bangkok and Chiang Mai with a camera. My best result was 53,000 views.
  2. Agree. My cooking was very limited until I got an air fryer. In a small condo kitchen, the bonus is they take up very little space.
  3. Dressed like that, with a limo. And you're wondering why they put their prices up?
  4. The same ones Bob Smith and Bignok were banging, presumably. Be careful, that dripping may be leucorrhea.
  5. I take it you have heard of the term collateral damage. Bombs don't discriminate between innocent and guilty.
  6. Putin thinks Ukraine deserves it. So you think every Iranian, regardless of whether they support a theocracy or not, deserves to die? What do you kill flies with, a sledgehammer?
  7. Tell me the difference between Trump bombing Iran, and Putin bombing Ukraine.
  8. That may be so, but all I do is turn the piece of meat over after 5 or 6 minutes. That way, it cooks evenly. As far as properly goes, I always use a meat thermometer. If you like cleaning a cooking tray every time you cook, fine. I'm lazy.
  9. Rubbish. Line the tub with aluminium foil, and it needs cleaning about once every 3 months.
  10. My best coffee place is in Huay Sak, on the road to Thoeng. 35 baht for a really good coffee. 80 baht for instant coffee is BS. Was the OP dressed like a tourist?
  11. Santa Ana winds blow on average for three days, up to 7 days. The 2025 California fires burned for 24 days. In 2020, the August Complex fire burned for several months.
  12. Trump is assuming it is Iran that will have him assassinated. IMO he has a few more enemies than just one country.
  13. #1 Ethanol is C2H5OH. Two atoms of carbon, it generates CO2 just like fossil fuels do. #2 Ethanol comes from sugar cane. As a monoculture, it is no more environmentally friendly than other crops needing pesticides and fertilizers. #3 Without subsidies, ethanol is economically unviable, The cost of a litre of ethanol is about twice that of a hydrocarbon fuel derived from crude oil.
  14. I guess record floods in northern Queensland, California wildfires, and Florida hurricanes are just figments of the imagination. As is sea level rise.
  15. 50% of Americans believe in angels, what is the evidence for them? You can't see gravity either, but there is plenty of evidence it exists.
  16. If the economic ignoramus in the White House persists, I can foresee a world-wide recession. The ship has already sailed with environmental issues. Buy property where there are no floods, hurricanes or bushfires. Insurance premiums will go through the roof in those areas, or may not even be available.
  17. Off topic, but have you thought of trying to reduce them? Every med you take puts extra stress on your liver and kidneys. NSAID's are not good for kidney function.
  18. I know a course of medication which cost me AUD $100 in Australia would have cost me USD $70,000 if I had been treated in America.
  19. It was $7.70 when I was there about a year ago, perhaps costs have come down. After all; it is a leftist government. Funny how social welfare is so much better when they are running things. I don't think Australians are dumb enough to elect Dutton, who is trying to copy Trump.
  20. I would put it at kindergarten. School playground is way too advanced.
  21. Air fryers use less electricity than a conventional oven. Smaller cooking volume, cook faster. Mine is the most basic, 200 C fixed temperature. According to the label, 1200 watt. I use mine for cooking protein only. Beef, fish, chicken. gammon ham, pork, sausages and burgers. A meat thermometer tells me when the food is done, anything > 70 C. Cleaning is so easy. I line the tub with aluminium foil, a quick spray of olive oil. Discard the foil after the tub cools down.
  22. I have posted pics of flu virus and coronavirus on a previous thread, I am not going to waste my time on you twice.
  23. You will need to import wines for the next 2-3 years. The smoke taint from the California fires will affect grapes and wine for about that long, assuming you have no more of them. Smoke taint is what makes wines undrinkable. Personally, I have found US wines to be quite insipid, but I am used to Barossa and Rutherglen hearty shiraz.
