i can guess the coming solutions - visitors must buy a special insurance that cover asymptomatic hospitalization. the solution is allways in the way that makes the tourist pay more. but the real outcome is that a growing number of tourists stop seeing thailand as their next destination and forget about it. thailand lose big time.

what is so strange about "i am the one" facing so many repeated problems? you say yourself there are "many facebook" blah blah about this problems, so i am not the only one. do i have to be an expert on those web sites and the different glitches and TRASH they create there? do i have to try different browsers and cards and VPN's just to pay something? no. i am just someone trying to visit thailand and you can see for yourself how hard it is to get a simple pass. YOU ARE THE STRANGE one if you think that i and many other potential tourists and even business people do not have anything better to do besides trying to solve those failed web sites. people will just stop coming to thailand and i am kind enough to explain here why,

My application for THAILAND PASS was rejected because of "PLEASE PAY FOR 2 PCR TESTS" the website THAILANDPASS.COM did not mention anything about this document as required. there is no way to update an existing application, only to start the whole process again. the website for the PCR tests payment, THAILANDPSAS.COM did not work, and i could not make the payment. still i did send another application and explained that their PCR payment web site does not function properly (i even got email from that website support saying they are still working on it !!!). now 8 days have passed and still did not get any reply from the PASS team, not even rejected, nothing, there is no way to check the status. nobody answer phone calls or emails. question is: how do i get now this THAILAND PASS if it works at all?

now there is a new document required - payment proof for 2 PCR tests. you will not find this requirement on the THAILAND PASS website. they will tell you about it only AFTER you were rejected, and the only way to update your application is to START IT ALL OVER AGAIN!!

I AM WAITING MORE THAN 7DAYS NOW FOR MY RESULT - NO REPLY FROM THEM AT ALL !! what a disgrace. they insist of pre payment of 2 PCR tests, but the web site to do so DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY !!! SO for 4200 cost of PCR tests, they propably lost hundreads of millions of baht in revenues !!!

yes, so many thais neverheard about this street and just can't wait to book into backpackers hostel and than go to getdrunk and buy a bus ticket the next day to koh samui or chiang mai !! such an exciting street !! bus and air tickets to all over thailand..and the world !! just be carefull not to get scammed by one of those travel agencies,as it happaned to me few years ago. i paid cash for an air ticket, i trusted the woman there because the wall behind her was full of hundreads of passport photos of travellers from my country (!!), and when i came few days later to collect the ticker - the whole office disapeared !! but i kept the receipt !! MINI TOURS !!!

thai people are doing their readings in hiding, usually at home in their private rooms. it is a cultural thing. unlike in the arrogant west, where people go out to cafe and bars and read books asif to show the whole world "look i am reading a book", the humble thais are reserving their reading to the quiet and private times they spend at hope, with or without their families.

it is not about "thai", it is about a centralised system that does not function and acctually blocks the whole country to visitors, farang thai tourists or business...everybody suffer because of this evil thailand pass psas web sites !!

now the thailand pass works only for entry via phuket, it is built in the system. than you have to stay 7days in phuket before you can travel elsewhere in thailand. problem is that the THAILANDPASS system does not function properly. i am still waiting for an answer for an appliation from 8 days ago. than it might be rejected for reasons you can predict. they ask you to pay in advance for PCR tests on web site which does not work properly.

it is just one stupid bankers. all over the world, bankers can decide stupid things with no relation to the main bank policy.

the rules are never clear and ever changing. and remember that this guy came here for a HOLIDAY !! he came to meet family who also came as tourists !!! so far for them to get back to holidays in thailand !!!

i personally believe the omikron variant and all the anglo saxon stats involved with it are just another lie to keep people at home in the festive season. i base my opinion on stats from south american countries and even south africa, who do not follow any new restrictions and do not show any rise in infections, let alone deaths. hard to admit,but your countries are lying to you. thaland is just obeying anything the big boss from UK / US are telling them to do.

well let me tell you a little secret - the "situation" is very calm also in panama, conta rica, brazil, argentina, and even s. africa !! without any new restrictions !! entry to all those countries is possible without PASS non sense, but some will require vaccination. you can check this on WORLDMETER.COM thailand keeps shooting itself in the legs with all those restrictions.

the guy did not do any runner. the guy came for a holiday and was not explained clearly what he should do. total disgrace of hotel stuff and all involved !!

HOTEL STUFF lied to save their face or aszz. now this poor guy will have to pay dearly, maybe even sit in jail, just because the hotel stuff did not explain to him properly what he should do. another story to remember for tourist who consider coming to a holiday in thailand

you are right. thailand is not all about money like the u.s.. thailand is jai dee mak mak.

the sceintific truth is that there is no point to close the country, once it is confirmed that the variant is spreading locally. that is whythe U,S, and many other countries, not so advanced like thailand but still modern, scrapped all restrictions on travel from africa and else where. the point in the initial closure is to gain time in case of a serious outbreak. but once the omikron is in thailand than there is no point in blocking the borderd, besides showing to the nation how good we are in guarding against the ai farang.

just using the term "brothers" shows that you stll leave in the U.S. thailand is a modern, sofisticated, warm hearted country open for all to excell according to their talents, skin color has nothing to do with anything in this beutyfull land of smiles.

well they allready did much worse than that. they forced him into few days in field hospital, while he is NEGATIVE for covod !! by doing so, they acctually risk his life !! than they told him that his FIRST PCR test came positive, while acctually all thre came NEGATIVE !! that is psychological turture, just to save the hotel's stuff face / job. now, they want to charge him with this and that and will propably make him pay\ HUGE fine, while what they have to do is acctually APOLOGISE to him and release his to continue his holiday !! this case IS AND WILL BE famous all over the world, and will cause huge damage to thailand's reputation and business, just like with that american guy who got arrested for posting negative review about that stupid hotel in koh chang !!

what a wonderfull holiday !! please be reminded that this "israeli man" came to thailand for a HOLIDAY !! he came here to SPEND HIS MONEY yet is treated like a dangerous criminal and "desease spreader" just because, i am sure, some misunderstanding in his hotel check out !! from my expereince , thai official and stuff tend to put the blame on the "farang", if to save face and if to save their jobs. it happaned to me. i allmost got arrested, threatened with violence and told to SHUT UP because of a mistake an immigration officer did in the airport !! it was all her mistake - and anyway i am not a thai immigration expert - yet i had to get the heat !! what a disgrace !! this case is now famous all around the world and will deter even more tourists from ever come to thailand !!

well at least in thailand they still blame the prostitute for the crime. in other european countries, mainly sweden, they blame and frame only the customer. yes you heard it right. prostitution in sweden is legal but going to a prostitute is a crime !! the customer gets arrested and pay huge fines !! hope this twisted idea will not spread to thailand.
