Thats not how tariffs work. Ultimately it will be UK consumers who have to pay.
Only until they can buy from elsewhere or produce domestically

get a water pistol or spray bottle and fill with water and bleach, a few squirts in the face should make them back off
Theres no need for bleach that could potentially blind a dog, water alone would turn the dogs away. The dogs are just doing what is natural and protecting their turf, its the owner who needs to be responsible.

he certainly didn't plan his exit. Go fund me ... here we go again.
I say raise $800 and throw him on the plane to the UK. One way ticket.
the best laid plans and all that..
The poor bloke lost his beloved wife and was left alone in old age. Hope he finds some solace.
For the pittance of that hospital bill this story is not worth lighting up the pixels on the laptop for.

Call Fedex again and request a 10kg promotional box. It will cost about 5,000 baht to send to Uk.

Tell your friend to invest in as many rental properties as possible in Australia and have them rented out fully managed.
Keep some cash in reserve in Australia (1 million baht) and bring 2 million with you to Thailand. (800k for a visa and the remaining for living expenses)
The rentals will provide continuous income. Im sure 7 million baht could buy quite a few property deposits at 25% down payment on each one with an interest only mortgage.
Its now a perfect time to do this during a recession whilst visiting Thailand on holiday. In 3 years time he retires to thailand full time.

Buy the property in your THAI wife’s name to begin with. If you don’t have a Thai wife to buy a house for why would you buy one at all?

The article was written and inspired by a Travel writer desperate for something to say..
I went out yesterday and enjoyed favourite food at a small restaurant. Wife had to sit on a separate table but the food was good.
Glad to be back home after all that hustle and bustle.

Yes, years ago people say same thing.
But nothing happen.
The “government” not interested what I do. Be boring for watch. Not interested farang in Pattaya same.
Nobody have the job spy on normal unimportant people.
For those with paranoia in the clinical sense, however, the overwhelming suspicion that “someone is watching” is old news. Individuals with paranoid schizophrenia often report feeling like someone is spying on or following them. Such “persecutory delusions,” which occur in about 50 percent of people with schizophrenia, can be extremely troubling to the sufferer, who often feels threatened by imagined antagonists.
Link,
This his app is to help control covid.
If your country do it, and thailand not do it, you some poster will say thailand should do it. Complain all the time.
VocalNeal win “POTY Clever Foreigner of Today Award.”
Congratulations VocalNeal.
There is legitimacy in some members who fear this sort of thing. Just look at the CCP in China and how they control their people. Millions died in world wars to prevent this sort of control over people..
..and it always starts off looking innocent..
..although on this occasion some forum members may be thinking into this too much. Contact tracing is required to manage covid outbreaks and there is no tracing app to download or take with you. This is an app for checking in and out of premises.

I understand the fear of giving too much away although let’s think about this..
this tracking system isn’t an app on your phone, it’s only recording places where your phone checks in.
Im sure there are apps on your phone tracking your every move and conversation already to send to Facebook, google, microsoft, apple and amazon.

An easier alternative would be to have the QR codes tattooed on everyone's forehead.
After all, these QR codes have a nice futuristic design, very fashionable if you ask me, and such a policy would provide work for the many tattoo parlors that grace the cities.
I always wondered about those barcodes tattooed on the back of some peoples necks...

I see, although I was responding to the OP who asked about incoming flights to Thailand to deliver from UK. I see you continued the thread with your own questions.
In your case the only option is to send DHL, TNT etc until the airmail and EMS re-start. Im waiting to send letters out also.
