Such people are very fit. Look at Warren Buffett. He is almost 90 and still works. And I am tired already if I walk to a nearby 7-Eleven to buy some beer...

There may be a clue in your statement as to why you maybe always tired...?

Yeah I find this annoying as well.  Foodland is good about bagging, they usually have an extra bagger at each checkout.  At Big C Extra I just refuse to pay until I've finished bagging my groceries, they usually chip in and help after a minute or so, heh.

You wouldn’t get away with that in Aldis or Lidl’s in Blighty, your groceries would be launched off the end of the conveyor belt faster than a rocket ???? whilst you scurry to pick your broken eggs up from the floor yourself and whilst everyone in the queue looks at you with disdain and disgust..

..And yes that is one of the reasons I moved to Thailand.

    It's not a parcel but a letter.

3 A4 sheets of paper to be precise.

    Parcels2Go don't send from Thailand.

DHL want the equivalent of £80 and I have to drop it off.

I dropped them off my list instead.

I see, although I was responding to the OP who asked about incoming flights to Thailand to deliver from UK. I see you continued the thread with your own questions.

In your case the only option is to send DHL, TNT etc until the airmail and EMS re-start. Im waiting to send letters out also.

get a water pistol or spray bottle and fill with water and bleach, a few squirts in the face should make them back off

Theres no need for bleach that could potentially blind a dog, water alone would turn the dogs away. The dogs are just doing what is natural and protecting their turf, its the owner who needs to be responsible.

  5. Tell your friend to invest in as many rental properties as possible in Australia and have them rented out fully managed.

Keep some cash in reserve in Australia (1 million baht) and bring 2 million with you to Thailand. (800k for a visa and the remaining for living expenses)

The rentals will provide continuous income. Im sure 7 million baht could buy quite a few property deposits at 25% down payment on each one with an interest only mortgage.

Its now a perfect time to do this during a recession whilst visiting Thailand on holiday. In 3 years time he retires to thailand full time.
