What about the families of those died because of the flu?
Are you living under a rock?
There are many many more deaths with covid-19 than flu.

"Ergo no one has Covid" it's not the case since a very high percentage has either very mild or no sympthoms at all.
And it's another proof this massive overreaction over this Flu like virus is ridicolous.
I’m sure the families of those who have died will disagree

I was out last Sunday and we visited a favorite little dining place, usually packed with Thais for the delicious food this time it was empty.
It seems many Thais have tightened the purse strings at the moment.
TAT is on another planet.

Such people are very fit. Look at Warren Buffett. He is almost 90 and still works. And I am tired already if I walk to a nearby 7-Eleven to buy some beer...
There may be a clue in your statement as to why you maybe always tired...?
"to buy some beer..."

Yeah I find this annoying as well. Foodland is good about bagging, they usually have an extra bagger at each checkout. At Big C Extra I just refuse to pay until I've finished bagging my groceries, they usually chip in and help after a minute or so, heh.
You wouldn’t get away with that in Aldis or Lidl’s in Blighty, your groceries would be launched off the end of the conveyor belt faster than a rocket ???? whilst you scurry to pick your broken eggs up from the floor yourself and whilst everyone in the queue looks at you with disdain and disgust..
..And yes that is one of the reasons I moved to Thailand.

*@&#¥%-ing bags about 70% of the time....We keep them right in the car in the drivers door pocket.....
If it's a cart it's easy, just roll it to the car....But using the hand basket I usually forget....
Last time out I grabbed a folded bag & stuck it in my pocket - finally, success = except, it turned out to be the smallest bag in the car - held about 1/3 of what I needed to carry out.....
It’s people like you who should pay the extortionate 3 baht for the bags so that the rest of us responsible people who have memories longer than a gold fish don’t have to wait for people like you holding up the queue.

It’s like anything else in Thailand, all foreigners are segregated as having far fewer human rights Than what Thais have, yet those from affluent countries are expected to pay more for everything.

It's not a parcel but a letter.
3 A4 sheets of paper to be precise.
Parcels2Go don't send from Thailand.
DHL want the equivalent of £80 and I have to drop it off.
I dropped them off my list instead.
I see, although I was responding to the OP who asked about incoming flights to Thailand to deliver from UK. I see you continued the thread with your own questions.
In your case the only option is to send DHL, TNT etc until the airmail and EMS re-start. Im waiting to send letters out also.

Thats not how tariffs work. Ultimately it will be UK consumers who have to pay.
Only until they can buy from elsewhere or produce domestically

get a water pistol or spray bottle and fill with water and bleach, a few squirts in the face should make them back off
Theres no need for bleach that could potentially blind a dog, water alone would turn the dogs away. The dogs are just doing what is natural and protecting their turf, its the owner who needs to be responsible.

he certainly didn't plan his exit. Go fund me ... here we go again.
I say raise $800 and throw him on the plane to the UK. One way ticket.
the best laid plans and all that..
The poor bloke lost his beloved wife and was left alone in old age. Hope he finds some solace.
For the pittance of that hospital bill this story is not worth lighting up the pixels on the laptop for.

Call Fedex again and request a 10kg promotional box. It will cost about 5,000 baht to send to Uk.

Tell your friend to invest in as many rental properties as possible in Australia and have them rented out fully managed.
Keep some cash in reserve in Australia (1 million baht) and bring 2 million with you to Thailand. (800k for a visa and the remaining for living expenses)
The rentals will provide continuous income. Im sure 7 million baht could buy quite a few property deposits at 25% down payment on each one with an interest only mortgage.
Its now a perfect time to do this during a recession whilst visiting Thailand on holiday. In 3 years time he retires to thailand full time.
