For those of you who have lived here for years?
SAFETY FIRST replied to Hummin's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
It may be ok for you as you have $$ ,many of us like myself are very poor forced to work 12 hours days and double shifts on Sunday's . When we do go to Thailand we are locked up in our 6 weeks annual leave in a large Condo with small cell rooms I work on an offshore drilling rig. I work 12 hours a day, 28 days straight. I don't think you are poor, I read that you own properly in Sydney, probably worth millions. 💲💲💲💲 I've read your postings in the past, you seem to be bitter, negative at times. Try to be more positive in life, you'll enjoy life more, try it. -

Agree. I am a glass half full guy and would probably be happy living anywhere, as long as it had a warm climate and near the beach. I'm a lucky one, I work on rotation, so I'm only here for a month then back to work for a month, I have a large family and travel regularly, I meet many Thai people from all over Thailand, always welcoming. Thai's are the nicest, warmest, happiest, friendlies people I've met. I feel keeping things positive and having a positive attitude has a reflection on how we see others and how others see us. Sadly, some people will never be happy wherever they live in this world. -

Crikey, I've lived here for over 20 years, still in my 50's. Reading all the negativity. How sad it must be for some of you guys living your miserable life here in Thailand. I'm the happiest guy on the planet, would not have chosen to live anywhere else. I did like Vung Tau when I was working there, would have been my next choice. -

Strange that they are going so big. I thought the 150i was perfect. In Australia the biggest new Honda PCX is PCX125 Only. -
Help centres are common these days, do they work? I'm sure the only people that would use these services have serious problems, mental health issues, seeking attention. I'm confused, I'm sure it's just a mechanism to comfort the person with problems. I reckon if I was going to pull the pin I wouldn't be talking to some social worker on the telephone for comforting. This world is getting stranger and stranger.

I take sleeping pills regularly, strong prescription as I need to flip towers (6am to 6pm shift) when working on the rig. I am still alert enough to know if some dude is trying to enter my freckle. I reckon the guy has mental health problems. I've never been in prison, I thought these rapes happen regularly, should keep the lawyers busy.

That money should be used in relocating the capital, that should reduce traffic. Bangkok is sinking. -

I'm 100% sure if any of my passports (original and concurrent) had a tear, I would know about it. At times my passports are sent away to different countries for visas etc, I have never had a passport with a tear or torn...never. I fill a 64 page passport in less than 10 years, my passports get a lot of use, they are seen and handled by many people. -

Another juvenile comment. Strange that needlessly, members are attacking other members here. This thread has brought out the rude, nasty, hostile people hasn't it. Why are you attacking me? I have not even interacted with you. This is not the school playground. -

I disagree. I have 2 Australian passports (1 concurrent). I travel internationally once a month, my passports get sent away to different countries for visas etc so I can enter the next country legally. At times I've filled 64 page passports before they expire. I have never, ever had a damaged or a little bit broke or torn or marked passport. -
