Keep it simple mate. I like your optimism but things can go pear shaped quickly in Thailand. I have a couple of question. How many previous marriages did you have in the west and how are their houses going?

Here's another negative Thailand Facebook group. What's wrong with people, if you are not happy go back to your own country. Don't complain. It's just bitchy, school yard stuff. Grow up fools Bloody pathetic foreigners. It makes me ill to read these posts, fed up with the whinging and whining. https://www.facebook.com/groups/pattayathailandinfo/permalink/3483742735215956/?mibextid=Nif5oz

I was reading a Facebook group about this subject. Sadly Thailand is becoming the land of the whinging foreigners. Lots and lots of complaining and moaning expats, man up cry babies I live local, been traveling Theprasit for over 20 years, it's dynamic, always changing, it's not perfect but it works. In Oz we're taught to deal with things not moan and complain. I'm glad to see they are installing traffic lights corner of Kophai. ???? https://m.facebook.com/groups/438849630140035/permalink/1221917795166544/?mibextid=Nif5oz

Naked British Man Goes Berserk in Pattaya Hotel
SAFETY FIRST replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
Sadly the security is weak I saw a foreign woman in big C extra the other week with her cat, it was in a carrier. I'm seeing more and more foreigners in shopping centers with animals. Lots of lonely people coming here. -

My Mccluskey senior must be a proud father. I heard he's a resident of Pattaya. Sadly Pattaya has become a home for many mentally ill foreigners and now their family members. -

Oh well, at least the Brits are not discriminating, they are doing stupid things around the world A British man on holiday with his family in Jamaica died after attempting to partake in a challenge that involved drinking all 21 cocktails featured on a bar’s menu. https://www.news.com.au/travel/travel-updates/incidents/tourist-dies-trying-to-drink-all-21-cocktails-on-bar-menu/news-story/561db0e95d01e916eb6ec2db5318b985?utm_campaign=EditorialSB&utm_source=News.com.au&utm_medium=Facebook&utm_content=SocialBakers -

It's been a while since I've seen a bad boy Brit article. Seems the Brits have been on their best behavior for the last few days. -
Pattaya Festival 2023 Blazes into Action Today and Tomorrow
SAFETY FIRST replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
Seems to be lots of these rainbow festival things happening in town lately. I see Treetown has some new signage installed with Rainbows. If I was new to Treetown I'd avoid it if I saw these rainbows, it would make me feel it's LadyboyTown. I saw the jomtien parade the other week, the festival had a parade which attracted some strange people, some of the sights were not for children to see. -

Job offer in the middle of nowhere - would you take it?
SAFETY FIRST replied to CLW's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Yes, agree. Working Thailand is OK If you can work for a low salary that's fine but I wouldn't survive. I work offshore, on a 28/28 day rotation, returning to Thailand every month away, I get paid US$, my company pays my taxes. There's not much offshore drilling in Thailand, I worked offshore Songkla for a few years earning US$ which was acceptable. Most foreigners working in Thailand must be doing it tough, low salary, not being able to enjoy themselves going away, shopping, eating nice restaurants etc. buying properties or vehicles, like I said, not for me.
