More quality tourists: Israeli nut job steals package.
SAFETY FIRST replied to NorthernRyland's topic in General Topics
Sadly, Thailand has so many of these foreigners with mental health issues. Thailand seems to be a magnet for these lunatics. -

Swiss Expat Critically Injured in Scooter-Car Crash in Pattaya
SAFETY FIRST replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
He was riding a disability scooter, maybe he couldn't walk. Maybe the reason he was riding like a suicidal madman. Maybe he had mental health issues. I hope the woman who was driving the SUV is ok, maybe she will never drive again from this traumatic experience. AN forums, so many comments with maybe's, perhaps and possibly etc. -
Amorn parts for most white goods, basement Tukcom. Namchai is Pattaya service centre for Mitsubishi You say works well, might be an idea to repair, it's would be a good beer fridge.

I know I shouldn't but I laughed out loud what an idiot cyclist...thinking he owned the road and everyone would stop ha ha I'm glad you enjoyed the video, sadly I was attacked earlier by a member for posting. Tragically, some of the forum members here were born miserable. I'll try to keep the funny stuff coming. 😁 -
Swiss Expat Critically Injured in Scooter-Car Crash in Pattaya

I'm trying to get my safety concerns across, but sadly people aren't listening. That poor woman driving the SUV, the Swiss guy, recklessly, racing through that intersection, without looking or slowing. What if that woman veered in a way that she ended up in a shop front, injuring pedestrians or worse on the train line because of this foolish guy. -

You are missing my point, see the madman on his little vehicle travelling an unsafe speed through an intersection with some cars 100km/h, he is barely visible, that lunatic is trying to outrun a 2 tonne SUV, there's the problem. -
How much money do you pay every month?

No need for roaming just turn on WiFi. When you are in the coffee shop etc, ask the girl for password, she will find their WiFi on your phone and type in the password for you.
-
I'm not a WiFi guy these days, just using the 4 and 5G cellular but I'd avoid the free WiFi if you want fast. I see that you visit coffee shops and massage places, ask for their WiFi password next time.

Are these old diesel pick-ups converted to electric? If so I reckon they will be landfill in less than 12 months. -

I found some footage of the Swiss guy, in his younger days riding a bicycle. This guy has always been a suicidal maniac. For those of you obsessed by the white line, lots of white lines here. video_20240427_021354_edit.mp4 -

Agree, very bad design but some here don't understand, refuse to acknowledge the unsafe road markings. Anyway, like I said earlier, it may encourage more psycho foreigners to try and outrun 2 tonne SUV's. -
Yes, years ago around covid lockdown I'd jog down Jomtien Beach road, I'd jog to the end, then around the corner, but like you say there's a big pack of nasty dogs. Good to avoid if jogging or bicycle riding. BTW, I liked going past that condo car park on your right heading east (I think it's the only one), I'd see a few Porsche's in there on occasions.

Crikey, why do you need a police red box? Do the cops visit you once a day? I thought those police red boxes were for dangerous, problem areas.
