This is good to hear a Thai wearing a helmet but sadly seldom happens. I was driving around Pattaya on my PCX the other day and saw a beautiful girl walking alone. I offered her a lift, she agreed, I got out a newly purchased helmet from under the seat, she refused to put it on. I begged her, giving her a wai and pleaded, she refused. Anyway she jumped on, now I've got to take an alternate route, avoid the regular cop checkpoints.

I've adjusted by being more aware of the different driving styles, the bad habits here in Thailand. What exactly are you hoping to achieve with your post? Those of us who drive know exactly what's going on.

Now you are calling me names. I'm not delusional, I've adjusted. I agree that some Thai's drive differently to us westerners but you must understand that's the way they were driving before you arrived. I can give you daily videos of some of the foreigners here driving dangerously.

I'd say these Thai's are calling you the same names. Name calling is for school children. I've been driving in Thailand for decades, my biggest gripe on Thai roads are some of the foreigners. Not giving way at intersections, disrespecting other road users, Yelling and screaming from their vehicles, aggressively blasting their horn etc, now these guys are the guys who you should be calling names. Obese foreigners trying to bully a small Thai.

If you are looking for support for some Thai bashing you've come to the right place. The Thai style of driving was here well before we all arrived, it's going to be here well after we all leave, it's not perfect but the world is not perfect. We are the visitors here, we should be more understanding, try to assimilate when in Thailand, be more aware of their behaviour.

This happened to a friend of mine, he ended up formatting HDD, installing Windows operating system. If this doesn't work remove the BIOS chip from the motherboard and smash it with a hammer, you can purchase another BIOS from the manufacturer. Yes it's an inconvenience but the only solution. Nothing to do with ratings. I'd say most of the guys marry in Thailand for convenience. Less money in the bank required etc. You'll find lots of guys here on a pension so it's all about the bottom line, affordability.

If I remember you are located near PKCP. I bought off Ratanakorn, PKCP and Centre Point, great location, nice area, close to everything. I've never lived in my condos, mostly had them rented. I tried to avoid the annual agent fees (1 months rent) so I would go and see the tenant personally with a lease, have it completed each year, tenant and landlord (myself). Contact the owner, make an appointment, sign a new lease. It's high season now, finding new accommodation in good location at a reasonable price not easy. Good luck.

Nothing strange or unusual here. 😂 I see many foreigners driving past, yelling out at the top of their lungs on Soi Buakhou everyday. Why don't you spend some time on Soi Buakhou, you may find some friends with similar sanity issues.

I was out enjoying some pork noodles at a nice restaurant, entrance to Duck square. After finishing my dinner, having some spare time to kill and out of curiosity, I took my girlfriend on my PCX down soi 6 around 8pm the other night. The soi was jammed packed with girls lined up in the middle of the road, I was the only vehicle at the time (that I could see), took forever to travel the soi. My girlfriend hadn't seen soi 6 before, she was shocked, I'm so sorry I did this to her. Anyway back on topic......night life on Soi 6,lots of future wives for foreigners.

Most of us here aren't that interested in the crime committed by Thai's. We get quite a lot of Thai crime reported here and most crime by foreigners, I'm happy with the reporting, it's an English speaking forum.
