I reckon you are not thinking straight. After the father has abandoned and the mother decides to keep her child without income she must leave her child with a guardian, go to work in the city but the minimum wage of around 12000 month is not enough to pay for accommodation, guardian, food, clothing, electricity, etc, now she finds herself working in the sex industry. Please do the maths, a 12k baht monthly income from a job at Big C won't make ends meet. We are back in this horrible circle.

If the girls received welfare, social security payments and garnished wages from the father they would have no need to work in the sex industry. The government is to blame. Without these girls working in the sex industry the customers would have no supply of young girls. I can see that we are going around in circles but thanks for not getting hostile and nasty like some here.

Yes, I read that. Am I not allowed to make comment regarding the root cause, origin of the issue, source of the trouble, underlying reason? Fix the welfare and social security payments and most of the problems solved. You don't see these issues as often in the west, in Australian government pay mothers of newborn thousands of dollars for having their child.
