  1. Thanks for the reply. Yes, the bold is removed once I look at it, I don't bother clearing them. Good luck with your request.
  2. I was wondering why most (NOT ALL) of the Poms here on AN forums are commenting with negativity, they seem to always be bitter, constantly moaning and complaining about this and that. It seems like these members are spending most of their day on the keyboard looking for an argument, totally prepared to argue for days if you are prepared. Not me, I have a big family and I still work, so I must ignore most of the nasty, haters...... then they question why I don't reply. 😂 I found a video of some Pommy cops who are now working in Oz, they are replying to the comment of 'what's the biggest culture shock', one cop saying the Aussies are more positive and nice people. Thailand became my home when I was in my 30's, I go back to Oz frequently and miss Australia at times but love Thailand so much I must stay here. I reckon some of the Poms here need to spend some time in Oz, see what it's like to live in a wonderful, happy place surrounded by beautiful beaches, beautiful, nice people, amazing animals, outstanding, flora and fauna. Give it a go someday, all you negative Poms, it'll be an eye opener for most of you, some may even learn how to be a good person. These Pommy cops look so happy. video_20240929_072416_edit.mp4
  3. I heard the pollution is very bad in Chiang Mai. Also Caucasians are not as vulnerable to Covid's developing issues as the Asians, give them a break mate. It's their choice.
  4. Be very careful buying from Lazada if you are not experienced. Look at the star ratings, comments and don't buy if shipped from overseas. You should get good feedback here from those who have had success.
  5. I miss the old Xzyte nightclub. I stayed Silver Place apartments across the road for many months. I'd go to the nightclub regularly, fun, fun fun 👍
  6. I can't see anything shocking in requesting a beer. 🍺 It'd be unaustralian not to let him have a farewell beer, he did love everyone.
  7. Indeed not - makes my posts above look overly optimistic, hopeful even 🤬 Thanks for bumping the thread GK. @george Can you give us any update on this please - it really is annoying (IMO I have never cleared my notifications. Should I be clearing them? What is so annoying?
  8. Yes, the airport lounge pass comes in handy for me travelling internationally every month. I noticed that the Wisdom lounge in Kasikorn branch, Central Shopping has closed. I like the no wait queue (jumping queue) at branches, just swipe the card and I'm next at the teller. I've got my spouse credit card limit set to 20k baht.
  9. How sad, you're having a cry because I'm ignoring you. Don't feel too bad, you are not the only antagonizer I ignore here.
  10. At my children's condo I've noticed quite a few of these little Chinese pedal/EV scooter things driven mostly by older woman and mothers with young children who use the general power outlets located around the car park to charge. The Juristic management don't seem to mind this behaviour, is it common in other condominiums?
  11. NOPE My money is not held by the bank, it's invested with MTL, it was only required for my wisdom credit card. My other credit cards platinum, spouse etc. (issued 2008) when I was working in Vietnam, these unsecured credit cards were given to me without any security, requirements, caveats or impediments etc. The problem is that some here don't understand, not all AN forum members are on the aged pension. I am working on an offshore drilling rig, my monthly salary paid in USD (at the time 500k baht), was deposited into my kasikorn account each and every month, it's why I was given my unsecured credit cards, it's also why I have a kasikorn bank safety box located upstairs Pattaya Tai branch, it's why I have a personal relationship with the bank manager, I'm given priority. After my credit cards were issued, I worked offshore Songkhla (2012), my salary was paid in USD, from what I understand it is the only industry when you have a Thai work permit, I was paid USD. You don't have to be an aged pensioner to be an AN forum member, I am different to most here, if you are ELITE things are different, I'm not your average Joe. Why is it so difficult for some here to understand, it's clear that some here are confused and sad looking at the emoji's I've received.
  12. My cards are not secured. Are you stupid or is English not your first language? Google translate will help you. I've told you, my investment is with MTL, I can close down this MTL account tomorrow and still have my credit cards. Stop purposely annoying me with your annoying comments.
  13. The Walk in Mansion. Sadly this apartment building recently had a foreigner fall from the roof top, landing on the awning, a crane was needed to retrieve his body. You got to feel for these Thai business owners. So sad.
  14. About time, it's been only a couple of days since the last report of foreigners who are friends in a physical altercation on Soi Buakhou. Idiots.
  15. My mate met an imaginary super nice guy recently. He visits a help group, lots of super nice imaginary guys attend this group. imaginary friends.mp4
  16. Now, now, don't be like that. Didn't your mum tell you not to judge people by the cover.
  17. I met these nice people recently. They have a touch of class. video_20240711_105920_edit.mp4
  18. A good diet and the right exercise will achieve the same results. Lazy people.
  19. All my credit cards are not secured. MTL is not kasikorn bank. https://www.muangthai.co.th/en/about-mtl In a few years time I will receive all my investment. I can close the MTL account if I like. Just be careful on how you reply, you are being reckless, not giving the correct information. If you are eligible, you will receive an unsecured credit card
  20. I'd see a checkpoint on Soi Kophai, see a Thai rider no helmet (no Thai's wear helmets on this road, unless raining), tap my head, they always turn around.
  21. Yep agree, fire blankets are good for BBQ fires only.
  22. Just need a fire blanket from an earlier comment above 🥸
  23. I think you mean anti-EV trolls. 😂
  24. It's been a few years now since I received my wisdom card, I don't remember the investment being 10M baht, I'd have to check, seems high to me. If I remember I had to pay several thousand baht every year for around 7 years. It's worth the investment, it's not your average credit card, you get lots of perks. After I think 14 years I will receive millions of baht, many millions more than I contributed.
  25. As I said You said the opposite. Time has nothing to do with it, it's not about the past. I was sending my salary (500000 baht at the time) every month to Thailand, if you did the same thing today you will get a credit card My advice was a wisdom credit card to the OP
