PPTV shows Premeir League I’m in the Northeast Even though
it’s advertised that bars close at 12:00 midnight I think with the
military control I think it’s 23:00 in Udon Thani.
There are two nightclubs that stay open until 02:00 don’t think
you’d be able to hear the game if they have television

Almost everyplace in the world that has jet skis has an accident now and then. You get people that don’t understand to be alert
and use caution when your turning etc,
Spunds like the jet ski cut into the path on the speedboat. Looking up close at the jet ski it didn’t have a lot of damage that I can see.
the runner on the bottom don’t see other damage.
Possible the speedboat didn’t feel it hit the jet ski. Speedboat was probably running fairly fast.

This is Thailand.
Not the USA.
Yep it’s Thailand the poster said seems a little bit harsh so I gave an example. Most countries have stricter harsher laws in place.
Lived in China 10+ years CCTV cameras if your caught parking illegally a fine is sent in mail, Zero tolerance. Until China tweaked
their point systems a lot of people have a license but no car.
Someone racks up to many points pays the guy DL no vehicle money to put ticket on his DL. Now whoever picture is captured
has to pay the fine.

Seems a bit harsh to be going around taking alcholics’ vehicles.
After so many DUI in California you have to install an IID Ignition Interlock device in your car at your own expense. $150 to install and $60-80
USD every month that you are required to blow start you car.
Before you start your car, you must blow into the IID and provide an alcohol-free breath sample. If you don't, your car will not start. Once you are driving, the IID will ask for random samples, between 5-15 minutes after you begin driving and then about every 45 minutes thereafter.
they will impound your vehicle if no on is around or no one has a DL or everyone has been drinking.

They will if you ask. You pay quite a high premium for drugs dispensed from a hospital (at least a private one, like the Bangkok Hospital group)
I asked my regular Dr. at hospital And he told me which ones could
be bought at ....which was all but one. At hospital was 22,000 for two months. Now it’s 4,000 a big relief. The other one the hospital pharmacy doesn’t carry but will order for you.
China a lot of meds need prescription..... and Visa can be a headache. I lived there 10+ years.
The regular Chinese hospitals I went because sore shoulder. I had to get a cortisone shot. See the Dr. given a prescription go downstairs they give you medicine and syringe then you take it
back to Dr. to get shot.
There was an Taiwan/China hospital that was very good but more money

Were you allowed to own a car or did you have to lease it? My understanding is that the number of cars is limited by the government.
you would have to be very rich to own a car in Singapore, the yearly road tax on my company car was more than bt300,000.
It’s crazy expensive every time I talk to anyone about it my head spins at the cost.... you’ve to buy a certificate to buy a car.... I never could understand it.
I think it cars with red plates can only be driven at certain hours and not allowed in some areas..
.....anyway very expensive

Singapore is a nice place would work there if needed. Everything is
easy access people are great. I go there frequently for business and
there for a week to the Airshow every other year.
Myself get island fever easily so don’t like to live there forever. Same when stationed in Hawaii Island fever.
One thing is if you like to golf might as well cut off an arm it’s
expensive...

Bunch of nutcrackers today. The PM didn’t have to go. Good on him
to show someon cares.... we can’t kick every can down the road.
it was a good gesture

Anyway OP you should consider yourself very lucky if something doesn’t happen. It was foolish to first get caught drunk driving but then you thought ahhhh I’ll runoff from it....really stupid.
You were first lucky if you could pay the fine.... and then take off.
Better hope he doesn’t stop you again.

Bangkok Bank (for example) doesn't require a work permit:
https://www.bangkokbank.com/en/Personal/Save-And-Invest/Save/Fixed-Deposit-Account
Hi ......is there a minimum amount deposit for fixed term account?
Thinking put 70-80k a month until over let’s say 900,000.
Would want in my name only and in the will when it’s my time to go to the other side and it would then go to wife.
This keeps out any chance of sticky fingers.....

There was an article on TV a couple days ago from a Auto Insurance company and if I remember correctly.
Article said if you rearend someone your at fault. Basically
you should stay within a safe distance from car in front.
Same in US and unless you hit the rear quarter panel (not square hit) you might be able to show you weren’t in error.
Were their any witnesss that can help your case?
Good luck!

You are in 70-ties and wife in 30-ties, ok grown daughters, quick actions. Bit puzzling.
Did I misread something? I thought they’ve been married 30 years.
My Thai wife of 30+ years wants to divorce me. For about 10 years now,
She’d probably be mid to late 40s..... OP can you clarify how old your wife is?

No one need Embassy/Consulate letter no more in Phuket, that what Phuket Immigration says.
According to the US Embassy Immigration said the Income Affadavit will be valid for 6 months from issue date. I’m only
relaying what I’ve read and was told at the Embassy.
Just read through the entire article and it suggests different types
of Visa for those with Thai family / supporting a Thai family.
Also anyone living here full time 1998 and prior requirements stay
the same as when got their first visa / or extensions.
Article suggests going to your local immigration office and see what is offered and Best suits you.
We have a wealth of visa/extension to stay on TV. Hopefully for those who want to stay can find a suitable fit.

tedious on-line DS 160
It’s not all that bad I’ve filled it out but first gathered all the information. Sometimes loading the passport picture can be problematic.
As far as the DNA testing sometimes the officer feels it necessary.
I was at US Embassy Guangzhou a Chinese lady mid twenties with a newborn. The father wasn’t there and the officer asked where is he? In Germany she said but doesn’t know where. She was immediately told have to get a DNA test.
Was told by an officer the reason the US is sometimes overly strict is because once your in they don’t track foreignors like China.
I was there because my wife was denied a visa 2 times and would’ve been 3 if I didn’t make go and discuss with Consulate The Officer thought the invitation letter was fake.... no I wrote it.
She got her visa
i found a little puzling the OP saying US doesn’t give monetary support. If he’s taking the child to US for medical treatment it’s
not going to be cheap. To get any kind of aid it’s going to take time,
Hopefully it works out and the child gets healthy

Shouldn't that be murder?
Have no idea in Thailand. California voluntary man slaughter (Crime of Passion). A good lawyer probation possibly 3 years in jail at least that’s what I read from a California law firm web a few minutes ago.
Not knowing how hard the person kicked the child it’s difficult to
have an opinion. If the person kicked hard nough to hurt the child And it were my child at 4 years old I’d loose it and who knows what would happen.....
there should be laws to keep people from overindulging at a night stand? There probably aren’t but should be
more bike porn
in Motorcycles in Thailand
