President Biden on Thursday announced that he is pardoning thousands of people who have federal convictions for “simple possession” of marijuana, part of what his administration is calling a three-step plan to ending the country’s “failed approach” to criminalizing the drug.
“As I often said during my campaign for President, no one should be in jail just for using or possessing marijuana,” Biden said in a statement. “Sending people to prison for possessing marijuana has upended too many lives and incarcerated people for conduct that many states no longer prohibit.

FWIW, I mailed my form registered mail on 13 July. Sometime around the end of July, I was notified it was in the US. Then, according to USPS tracking, it didn't move for about five weeks. Suddenly, in the second week of September, USPS notified me it had got to Jamaica on 24 July. Then, a couple of days ago, the tracking reported it was out of Jamaica in transit on 28 July. So my USPS notifications were two months behind where the mail actually was.
Thanks for the hope mine will make there before the end of the world…. bloody slow …

It amazes me (Udon Thani) knowing there are multiple stops scattered throughout the city. Usually with spotters … but you see Farangs and locals not wearing helmets.. .. .. find a comfortable helmet
whatever style…. … wear it for safety and to save money….

OP… Yes indeed different than in West (US) but fortunately it all works out… my head was spinning
when we bought a new MUX we traded in car ( sold to the used car guy that came to the dealership)..
Had 2 visits to the house which is 90 km from dealership. .. finalizing the deal and this was over a couple of weeks..
trade monies had to drive the sales guy to the bank to get the cash for our trade @ 400k baht used DMAX handed us the cash We drove back to dealership finalized the deal handed over the cash … got
the new car manuals … had to wait for windows to be tinted then drove with dealer to a shop that put
on deluxe trim and loaded memory card in the factory camera.. it was an all day thing…
Paperwork was brought to the house a week or so later. Financed the balance and received paperwork from Tisco ( dealer used finance)…. In the end all good and paid off a year ago…

I agree it’s difficult for people especially in the Village…. not a lot of work for unskilled workers so
most rely on their farms which break even at best for most….
