OP US Social Security direct deposit to Bangkok Bank if possible keep your US bank account open in case it takes more than 30 days for SS to make the change. I made the change via Manila because I’ve Ive in Thailand and it took over 30 days. Being in US the change may not take as long.

I wear a mask anytime I’m out in public as a hopeful precaution and also courteous to others.
My son and some family members recently had Covid in the US fortunately they’re all vaccinated -

It's approx 20 miles from Scranton to Wilkes Barre. In Kivetoruk's 12 July post showing his USPS tracking his registered mail made it from Scranton to Wilkes Barre in 1 hour 32 minutes on 5 Jul.
See his post below.
I expect either your mail has arrived Wilkes Barre probably on 22/23 Aug but was not scanned as received.....OR, the mail has been sent to some other facility for some reason. I expect it's the former.
Thanks Pib… I’ll check status again next week…. worse case I’ll get sent another form….

Geez maybe the punishment was a bit extreme… but at the same time the parents or whoever takes care of the child be called into school at
asked why the child wasn’t in school… maybe the
kid is a habitual offender … we don’t know.
I’ve two nephew in laws older one goes to school
every day.. the younger one will take off because he doesn’t want to go to school…. And he skips school quiet often.. he’s 9 or 10.

It’s ok as long as the money is used as intended don’t think it’ll be a big beak money wise for tourist.
if long term expats get a hassle free refund or coverage for 30-45 days it’s acceptable.
as a side note regarding refunds…. My type of bank account doesn’t have an ATM card but I was charged the yearly ATM fee…. I’ve brought it up to bank corporate office and up to now it fell on deaf ears. It’s the principle not the amount …-
