Great share, thanks ???? That question nails exactly what I was musing about yesterday re: potential inter-Ministry drop synch. At any rate, MoFA gets a bravo zulu from me on putting this functional registration platform together.
Yes I hope it maintains traction once it gets going.
I have doubts however, that my local health authorities will just ignore any non Thai vaccine notices, as up till now I have had more than 4 times to my face, sorry Thai first. Nothing to force them to change that.

I will look at that device, thanks lopburi3.
These blighters are trying to spoil my sunset beers on my porch and were suceeding! On a bad night I would wake up with my back resembling taking part in a drive by shooting. This with a T shirt and a heavy shirt. Still no defence.
So, sounds ridiculous but a second pair of jogging trousers over my regulat trousers and a large handtowel as a middle layer between my t shirt and shirt so far does the trick.Ha!.
Wife does get bitten too but no real tchy red reaction as I get.
And Dengue is all over my village the last report 10 have it. I am more likely to get Dengue than Covid.

I didnt read it that you get the appointment within 24 hours, i understand that you HAVE only got 24 hours to respond to an appointment date, i think also that the rush for an acknowledgement means a swift turnaround and vax to start imminently, maybe brainwashed also.
I was replying to Rampant Rabbit.
Yes i think some will get apppointments soon as they are pegged to start around 10th August.

Guilty of just shutting my pie hole nowadays too, life's just too short to get stressed.
I take my hat off to everyone who has a real job here, that is when you'd really have to bite your tongue on a daily basis.
I would not last a day here in my previous profession.

Bad news for those pre-paying for Moderna. Looks like April 2022 and October only for luckier ones. This would confirm an earlier posters private hospital apppointment.
From Richard Barrow
"Sorry to say, but private hospitals have started to send out cancellation notices to some people that had paid in advance for the Moderna vaccine. People have 7 days to claim a refund. But they add you can reserve a 2nd generation Moderna vaccine due in April 2022"

No.
Once you get the appointment email, you have 24 hours to confirm.

Okay
So we have seen one report of a confirmed appointment slot so far.
Appointment: Bang Sue Grand Station
Residence: Pathum Thani
While Pathum is just “ up the road “ it is disappointing that the poster didn’t get a more local appointment. I am a little further up the road ( Ayutthaya ) and am hoping that there will be something available outside the Bangkok area but have my doubts.
Any more confirmed appointments ??
Waiting with interest to see their definition of 'near by'. I am 300 Km from Bang Sue and have no intention of going there.
Time for another goal post move.

Memories. Once spent a cold, snowy, wintry night in a lay by in one of these after breaking down on the way back from Clacton to London. Three friends and I. No spare tyre, no heater, and no money. Bloody freezing with that canvas roof. Waited for daylight and hitch hiked home.
I remember, no bonnet, or hood for our US friends. The whole front was hinged and swung forwards to access the engine. You can see one of the locking clips on the wing behind the front wheel in the photo.
Yes, it made working on it very easy, which is a bonus cos you had to work on it often!
Wish I had it now but sadly it fell apart underneath.

I'd be more interested to see/hear the number who have actually completed the registration process by sending in their documents and having those accepted/confirmed.
Me too. I can't see where I read it but I recall the completed application would be subject to document checking. Which means they will have to work their way through all the attachments, possibly rejecting if both visa and passport are not supplied.

@Saltire Ahhh, looks like I may have conflated two separate processes. My wife knows this guy's wife and just told me they'd registered through some previous Thai website or App, so that's why he already had an appointment date when we were chatting yesterday, and why it's so far into the future. Maybe. I don't know. Anyway........
Yes, scroll back a few posts it looks like if you already have an appointment through another channel, this new site knows about it. Poster above in ChiangMai kind of confirms this.

Dunno but yes, that's what I was thinking.
His comment made me do a double take as well, so I asked him again - April! Wow!
Didn't see his email confirmation personally, he's not a smart phone kind of guy, but had no reason to doubt him. Did suggest he follow up somehow, especially given his age and underlying med condition.
Does he perhaps live in a very remote area?

Surely this is a mistake? Does the USA donated Pfizer have a really long shelf life? Maybe the Pfizer for this scheme is not from that donation but anticipation of buying in the future. I hope not?

Unless they have stripped out the doubtess duplicate/triplicate emails that may be in the database (many, me included tried various emails when getting rejections) by passport number, this number may actually be inflated. I got 3 acceptances but only filled the form in one time to register.
Surprises me the number is quite lower then I'd have thought and may actually reduce.
Will surprise me even more if I get an offer of a jab somewhere 'local', Anywhere not Bangkok will do. I see I am in the top 5% of priority candidates (66 and 2 underlying conditions) so waiting ................

Why when I read your OP do I hear it being read aloud by Noel Coward?
Did you type it wearing a smoking jacket?
????
Seriously I moved here in 2016 and with the excitement of a new wife/house/country this would be my best year.
Unfortunately for me covid has put the kibosh on what I love most, travelling around Thailand with my wife.

With regard to the MedPark site (not for me as it's in Bangkok), where is their Pfizer stock coming from?
As far as I recall the only Pfizer in the country is the USA donation being distributed on the new expatvac site, unless they have been able to grab some.
Could be another if it's too good to be true it probably is? I hope not.
Or perhaps as they seem very professional they have been asked to supplement this effort.. Their eligibility criteria matched the expatvac if you read past the confusing information.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was a fair number of duplicate or even triplicate applications in that lot!
Correct, I now have 3 more emails with the link to the registration form, all of which which I will ignore so they should expire.
I think not a good Idea to register more than once.
Now if they are correct it puts me in the top 5% priority group. Over 60 and underlying conditions.

Well went on to register wants passport information ( no problem ) and medical certificate ( well I take pills for Diabetes , but have no medical certificate for it , so I am stumped ?
I am diabetic, but no longer take meds so don't have much Thai paperwork. I have 3 stents but again before I came here.
I used the header page from Sukumvit hospital check up where I declared pre-existing conditions.
The only Thai document I could have used was the medical I get for my annual extension, but the wife could see no reference to diabetes even though I declared it. If you have one, check it?
If you say no, you may go down the priority so I felt it was better than nothing.

And relax!
Now that nany have received their confirmation emails and now await another with 'local vaccination centres' details, what do you reckon happens next?
In the real world of computing, they should filter the data according to their published priorities, ie old, with underlying conditions etc. So they should filter the database by age, by medical issues, by location etc.
And as for location will they add a filter that shows 'too far from Bangkok, and only a handful of foreigners' so let's ignore them for now.
I hate being negative but as someone who spent their whole life project managing IT systems, now I just shake my head.

It's not instant, my email took over an hour to arrive.
Still waiting but I got an email using a different email.. I will ignore this one when/if it arrives. I am apparently registered.

Finally got a message to check my email but so far its been 30 minutes and no email yet.
How long till you get the email? Should it be instant?

That would be true, unless they are somehow using "time of completing the preregistration form" as an indicator of your place in line. I don't know how they will prioritize. If you want to keep trying to get through to the form, I guess there's no harm in that if you have the time. I can tell you that I searched all 3 of a friend's email address in the database (when the database was exposed) -- he got the "already taken" message for all three, and all three of the email addresses were already in the database. I'm fairly certain that he will eventually receive an email at each of those email addresses, but I have no idea what that delay will do to his place in line. This stuff is really life and death, please don't take my comment as a recommendation that might delay your access to a vaccine. I want everyone to be vaccinated as quickly as possible.
Thanks, have been trying with 3 emails but no luck. I take your point, this looked like I might actually get registered but not looking hopeful now. I will persevere.

My GiffGaff SIM arrived today from the UK - Royal Mail tracked took just 10 days door to door.
Activated online, added £10 credit.
Tested SMS by sending to my Thai phone - no problem. Cost 30p.
Just waiting on the UK to wake up and get my brother to send me a test SMS from the UK. If no problem I may add the 07...... number online in the co-op bank, or I may just wait till they enforce their email and add it at a later date.
Thanks to all who contributed.
