I've had the opposite problem in Chiang Mai where foreign quotas are often full in the better condos. I agree if the 49% has not been reached then it's not an issue - good luck.

Thais are easily distracted but, to be fair, could happen to any of us. Horrible experience for the driver.

Fair enough, of course, but much of the value is in the foreign quota element was my point. I have been buying and selling condos for 15 years (22 up to now) and I have sold one to a Thai but that is extremely rare as they can buy in the same building at up to 30% less because farangs cannot buy them. Don't do it? put it in your name?  if not let a Thai buy from a Thai - the farang quota is worth up to 30% more on the price. Why would a Thai buy from a farang - wierd.

I don't think they are "obscene sexual acts " but agree public is not the place for normal sexual activity between consenting adults.
