No they haven't

I know its inconvenient but they should, and looks like they will, follow Vietnam's model of quarantine 14 days in state hotel (Vietnam has no deaths).

I rather be a Viking than Homer the blind. What I saw were testimonies from career non partisan officers & even Trump appointee Sondland implicated Trump in his solicitation of foreign interference in the 2020 presidential election. What I saw was a non-verbatim transcript of qui pro quo between Trump and Zelensky and admitted by Mulvaney. What I saw was shenanigans by the Republicans to gatecrash hearings and White House refused to cooperate on the impeachment. Then the final disgrace of the cowardly GOP to acquit Trump except for a decent man like Mitt Romney. None so blind as you who will not see, Homer.
What I saw AND heard was Biden boasting about firing the chief prosecutor on TV. I then saw Dems making fools of themselves and no one saying 'yes he did it' and Sondland saying 'I assumed'. I doubt there are many good people on either side - clear the lot of them out.

Clearly what's good for the goose isn't good for the pumpkin.
Well Pumpkins are for Halloween. Trump has the authority to fire who he likes especially Obama installed folk. As I said Trump was too kind and should have fired them all in 2016. Nothing personal but they are political appointments and bound to turn sour. Anyway electors decide Nov.

The 'no confidence' reason was followed up with a factual summary of IG Walpin making repeated comments to the press regarding an investigation that was still in progress in what appeared to be an attempt to influence a mayoral election. http://www.nbcnews.com/id/31325894/ns/us_news-giving/t/obama-fires-americorps-inspector-general/
That's why Congress didn't pursue the matter. So all Trump has to do is give a valid reason for firing the IG. After all, what's good for the goose...
no confidence - go it? they all serve at the pleasure of the president

There are flights of returning Thai coming in every day (about 300 persons per day).
Do what Vietnam does? 14 days compulsory quarantine
PS Vietnam 300 cases ZERO deaths

The requirement is to give a reason. It can apparently be any sort of reason at all as not specified.
I don't recall this sort of controversy when Trump fired many W H staff, so I can only assume it's political.
Obama gave a reason 'no confidence' so what's good for the Goose...

Resurrecting an issue that has been dead for over a decade to justify Trump firing four IG's in six weeks. A bit desperate, aren't you?
You're right he should have fired them all in his first week.

Good for you though.
I am looking forward to receiving the Thai Social Security pension, which will bring me in a whopping Baht 5,000 a month. ???? Luckily, I don't have to pay rent nor do I have to lock up 800k for a visa, but will have to rely on my savings when I retire, as the SSO amount is nowhere near enough.
I wasn't trying to show off in any way. I only had 30m as I sold my London home, have no family or kids etc. Now i've got around 20ish in property and live off my pensions now I hit 60. 50,000 is a nice living, 25,000 can get away with it and 100,000 is heaven. I've been knocked back on rents, of course, so i'm on about 70,000 now.

Under normal conditions, that might be a reasonable strategy. Currently, it would be financial suicide. I don't know what it's like in Bangkok, but many condos and apartment blocks in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai are standing empty. I got an email last week from my landlord's agent offering me the studio I left for 5500 baht/month if I wanted to come back to CM. 3000 baht less than when I left.
yes agreed not now

If in fact the Dems have a surprise candidate waiting in the wings I'd expect they'll try and get him to resign rather than assassinate him at convention. That would just alienate all the voters that chose him.
There won't be a convention.

Just because you don't know something doesn't mean it isn't so. As has already been discussed, there is a law requiring the President to give reason for firing an Inspector General.
Trump and company don't hesitate to press charges; if Yovanovitch had lied under oath she would have been prosecuted. She wasn't. However feel free to provide the evidence that this administration clearly is unaware of.
To my knowledge Trump has not lied under oath. However, when he was testifying under oath he has admitted to lying about many things:
"Hammered by White and her deputies, Trump ultimately had to admit 30 times that he had lied over the years about all sorts of stuff: how much of a big Manhattan real estate project he owned; the price of one of his golf club memberships; the size of the Trump Organization; his wealth; his speaking fees; how many condos he had sold; his debts, and whether he borrowed money from his family to avoid going personally bankrupt. He also lied during the deposition about his business dealings with career criminals." https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/articles/2018-01-25/i-ve-watched-trump-testify-under-oath-it-isn-t-pretty
Obama gave his reason "no confidence" or did you forget that?

Do you have a gik?

No money, no honey. She sees you as generous and wants to extrapolate that generosity. I have several gik's (or sideliners) and simply pay them for each entertainment. If you like her pay her, if you love your GF stay away. Personally I dont have GF's only sideliners - life's easier that way and I don't want Cheese Pizza every night.
