How about thinking like this: Maybe, just maybe the departing flights are carrying goods that have been ordered and are a necessity for the receiving country, then the returning flight is loaded with items needed by Thailand, ie... your pharmaceutical medications, food to stock shelves, and other products needed by people who are here. Flights of passengers coming into the country have been halted, but not all flights carrying mail, or commodities....
Ahhh, yes. Chinese goods. How could i forget. Probably every country in the world is recieving goods from china still.

Thailand the hub of talking up fantasy hubs
the country that has never even designed and produced a car or smartphone of their own making
Impossible, you would have to take them into the shop every 90 days and pay for them fixing.????

I could be wrong! Can the doctors test you to see if you already had the virus! It would save a lot on stress and ...
Yes they can, they will be able to see if your body has built up the anitbodies for it.

Lets not forget, these viruses mutate aswell. This covid virus has already mutated 8 times already i believe.
So it will probably end up having a name change eventually as it is not in its original form.

Lol, kids have died from covid19 though.
These articles are dangerous.
Do these young kids go to school by themselves or do their parents take them?
All it takes is one infected parent or teacher and all these kids will get it.
There will be deaths, kids arent immune to it.

Where did you read this?
They have allowed some things to start again, they still have measures in place, the lockdown isnt completely lifted.
Borders arent open, they have restricted people flying in to reduce re-infection.
One problem they have is people from neighbouring countries trying to get into china illegally at the moment.

If you left it open, then it wasn't 'broken' into. Mine they broke a back window. Nothing valuable visible. I left my bike parked in the same place and got the back-box levered open!
True, still theft anyway. Which i didnt think happened here many moons ago.

Hey,
any experience with covid extensions for more than 30 days ? Its the same procces like first time ( embassy letter, 1900 baht etc) or they just extend old one ?
Thanks
Youd probably need a new embassy letter and probably have to pay again.

What takes these folks so long to make a decision on such an important part of people's lives during these times of uncertainty. Why must they Insist on placing foreigners in a situation where there own IO's risk health and welfare as well.
Like everything here. Slowly slowly.
Apart from when they drive.????

Publish names??
I dont know about you but there are alot of thais with the exact same first and last name.
Met a few "Tittiporns" in my time.
They should be releasing full names addresses, i.d card pictures, passport bio page pictures.
Thats if they are serious about catching them. Probably not.

If its on lockdown there isnt a right lot he can do, if you have been following the news on here. There is an anouncement coming about tourists stuck here and an automatic visa extension.
Just tell him to relax, wait it out until he can get to the immigration office.
Thats all he can do at the moment.

If you sort of "Liked" Hua Hin, but didn't quite "gel" with the place then why not try Cha-Am?
Close enough to Hua Hin if you want to pop in, but far enough away if you don't
I also quite like Bang Saen which is the closest beach resort place to Bangkok (if that's important to you for airports etc...)
Recently back from a 3 week exploratory tour looking at places to live by the sea & my personal & very limited findings were...
- I didn't get on with Jomtien, ok for a holiday, I just couldn't see myself living there
- I loved Koh Samed but Internet searches bring up zero places to rent there & can well imagine I'd be bored after a few weeks
- Pretty neutral about Koh Samui, certainly everything you could want/need there, but a bit more on the expensive side & felt more geared to tourists (NB I only stayed in Lamai & Chaweng, it's a lot bigger Island than I got to see)
Personally my next trips (When I've no idea) will be to check out mid-country... Udon Thani, Khon Kaen etc... as not living near the beach/sea is not a deal breaker for me (though I would prefer it if I could), as long as I can get to one in a few hours
Will have a look at bang saen.
Cheers.

In most areas where they imposed severe restrictions, that was the model they used. However, in Wuhan and some other parts of Hubei province, they had a full, strict 24-hour curfew. Everything you wanted had to be ordered online, and was delivered to your building. You were not even allowed out of your building under any normal circumstances for about two months.
That would never work here, people wouldnt follow that command, and i doubt the police would enforce it constantly.
There would have to be police and military everywhere.

I would say so, i believe it can be transmitted either way by the looks of it.
A very dangerous turn of events id say.
Looks like this virus isnt going away anytime soon.
Why aren't they closing down offices?
