why not ??
It was a common thing many years ago in uk......it was seen as helping a person out to take the hitchhiker to as near as possible to where he wanted to go.
Artic drivers were good at giving people lifts....a means of the driver have in company for part of his journey !!!

Thai Bank cards generally work in most countries.
The best place to ask this and your other questions is the bank concerned. BUT being Thailand you are pretty much guaranteed to get differing answers from differing people and branches.
My advice would be to email the head office and get your answers in writing from the "horses mouth" so to speak.
i have used my bank cards in atm machines in hong kong and macau being visa cards

........"and this is the sort of person enforcing the thai laws......unbelievable ,the clown uniform would be far more appropriate dress. From the hand movements whats goin on go left ,right ,up down ??? Is this a fit?? The other members of the force of course consider this perfectly acceptable and normal ,meanwhile the numbers of deaths on thai roads are at there highest peak even to say worlds no1 most deadliest. Easy to see why. Great to see the Thai government cracking down with such serious actions to the problem . Thank god my kids arent growing up in an area where policing and administrating directions to save lives are taken with such seriousness!

I would suggest exchanging the car for the money. It's then incumbent on the buyer to do the paperwork necessary for transfer of ownership.
The only thing missing from list is your TM30 and the Blue Book. The Certificate of Residency needs to be the Immigration one, not a condo certificate.
what about service records?? and if car/truck is over 7 yrs old proof of DLT inspections ????
