Buzz up to BKK or even Ayutthaya, plenty of temples to examine.
Book a van tour somewhere, Kanchanaburi is a good trip but maybe a bit far from Patters.
only 6 hours from pattaya so why not go then see the bridge...ozzies were there in the war..you could go see the cemetry which is kept in top class condition

Sound like another something similar to what happen to me up on Soi 3 in Pattaya only the gal on the bike ran me over because she was not looking at the road.....of course I was to blame....lol.....the hotel staff quickly got it sorted before I was scraped off of the pavement....otherwise I am sure I would still be in the monkey house on Soi 9 for being the "cause" of the accident? In short, it is a buyer beware when venturing out and about in Thailand.....just be on high alert at all time, even when on the footpath.....TIT=This Is Thailand.
yes because thais ride their motorbikes on pavements which is ILLEGAL !!!

Oh, he will fix the traffic jams alright in 3 months. When the so-called election is called and by some remote chance people demonstrate against his corrupt junta he has a plan that will stop the traffic, He is actually surveying the roads where he can send the tanks down. His way of thinking would be to crush the demonstration and stop the traffic in one go. Its called killing 2 birds with one stone
He also said there would be mo more flooding !!??

He has NO CHANCE of sorting the traffic problems out in Bkk nor anywhere infact..
Look at Pattaya traffic problems every day all day...

Most hotel rooms in H K and on Kowloon are very expensive due to space being at a premium.

The police did nothing.. I mean one would say a weapon and attack with one would result in a serious charge. If they don't charge people for it how will it ever change.
IT NEVER will here....the man with sword should be banged up for some years and banned from driving

obviously Thai police and other authorites !!

why NOT apply the Uk's driving laws much better than any Thai laws....the problem here is corruption and the lack of police officers to uphold the laws...!!!
