The OP  starts with "It has fasinated me for years that people can believe in god and that Jesus was born to his virgin mother . " so obviously he is talking about a biblical god.
But he does conclude with "Do you really believe in him or any of the other Gods ?" 
There are 130 pages of replies and I cant posible read all of them , so if somewhere you have explained that you believe on a different god/gods I cant be blamed for missing it.
The only thing I know about your definition of god is "God is what one feels within" if that's the case then god is a pepperoni pizza because I have indigestion 

Yes i was talking about " a biblical God" but i truly think many people need this so that they can comfort themselves with believing that they dont just turn to dust when its all over.
It must be great to really believe that you will see mum and dad and your wife and kids( or in my case a few wives) when you die ,but i reckon as far back as men started to think they have worshiped something ,even if it was only the moon.
Its just we all need something in our lives ,God and Jesus are just handy.

Those who go on about God being the one ,well before the Jews came along and started the " God"religion nobody had ever heard of him or worshiped him ,they had "Gods" but there were hundreds of them .
The Jews started it ,the Christians took another path ,and then the muslims came
along and took bits of both the religions added a bit and well started islam.

What are you talking about? It's not the strength of the baht it's the pound that's on it's arse. Brits have BJ, Farage and their pals to blame for that. Once the UK is out of the EU with no deal come Halloween then it's only getting worse. 

I take it you are a remainer trying to add to project fear. If you bothered to look at the currency charts like normal people not fearmongers do you will see that all currencies are way down on the baht,i do agree that the uncertainty at the moment over Brexit is a further factor ,but wait and see what happens ,no deal it seems has already been factored in by the money markets.

We eat very little western food ,although as my wife and son lived in the UK for years they do like some sometimes,especially our son as he ate it as he was growing up and for school dinners.
Still it is a worry as the pound really is so low.

Actually i never use my card to buy anything only transfer money ,i have a card reader so ok for that,if i purchase anything online i just use my Thai bank card ,thanks anyway

I went to a clinic here in Pattaya 6 yrs ag as i had a small problem and was told i had a cataract and needed an operation next wk 52k
Anyway went to the Queen Sirikit govt hospital in Satahip ,6 yrs later still dont need cataract operation but was told at the time was in danger of getting gloucoma, as i had high pressure in my eyes, i see a doctor from one of the major hospitals here in Pattaya there ,its really good ,but you do have to wait around,but no problem ,air conditioned ,food courts ,shops ,you need a car and you have to register there ,believe me i get really good results ,cost 900 baht a visit ,plus cost of meds ,if you want to ask me anything pm me.

Hard call I am 50/50 her as these are my 2 favourite bands of all time.
 
However what I listen to depends if my Thai gf is being forced to listen to my music.
 
Me alone = Rolling Stones
2 of us = The Beatles.
 
No matter how hard I try it seems Thai just don't like Rock N Roll 
 
Her brother runs one of these loud music hires for weddings etc and when he has it set up at home I sometimes plug in my phone but I have to say the village does not appreciate rock. 
 
Anyone have a Thai gf/wife who appreciates western rock? 

My wife loves western music ,but i never see her playing rock

Do not worry: the levied import duty on British goods for the EU will close that gap in less as a year.

Try "her" as the pronoun as opposed to "it".
 

Or him even ,because no matter what centuary we are in ,how pc we are,no matter how good looking he is ,or if he has no penis any longer ,he was born a man and will die a man .
After saying that i have no problem with what he wants to be as long as it pleases him and doesnt cause us any trouble.
