    Ever since i was in my teens i guessed that girls liked me because i was clean ,nicely dressed( even when i wore a kaftan in the 60s) oh God i really did . I know i was not to bad looking but i have always felt that you should be neat and clean that goes a heck of a long way .
    My wife is the same and some times she points out guys and asks how can they walk around looking like that? Beats me.

    We are all sugar daddy's here, but some may not admit it. My advice is to hide your ATM card. and plead poverty.
    The only sugar daddys here are the two week millionairs with a 20 something girl in short shorts tatts and a crop top and they are holding on tight trying to show how hansum they are to attract a girl like this .the actual guys that live here are with women that are not dressed like a hooker ,and are to busy to hold onto them as they are concentrating on shopping at Tesco and pushing the trolly.[emoji3]

    I also walked around Pattaya many many times over 30 years and never saw any low lifes. I did see some I didn't want to associate with, but that did not mean they were bad people, though I admit some were a bit strange.
    I love the people that say Pattaya only attracts low lifes,guess it takes one to know one ,or do they reckon they are the only decent person that comes here?
    Funny we live here and i dont really know one low life,most are just ordinary married guys with nice wives and familly.i know you see the odd tattood guy wearing his wife beater t shirt,but honestly there were far more low lifes back home in my old town in the UK.

    I honestly feel sorry for everybody who chooses to mock God because there will be severe penalties for that person and God will make that person eat those words. 
     
    All over the web you see people writing blasphemous things about Christ and when the time comes they’re going to wish they had a time machine.
    How do you know this? Did he tell you? And i thought Jesus "turned the other cheek" and forgave sinners.

    Nobody is suggesting that it's not your money. Of course it's your money to do with as you wish.
     
    But it so happens that the Thai authorities have decided that one of their rules states that foreigners must have 800K held in the bank.
     
    It's quite clear. you either agree to do just that, or you don't. At the end of the day, the choice is yours.
     
    It's your money. Decide what you want or have to do. We all know it's your money.
     
     
    Yes i decided,i will go the marriage route,now i can spend my own money if i wish

         What a bunch of nonsense.  When I came here in 2010 the requirement was 65,000 baht a month in income or 800,000 in the bank.  9 years later it is STILL the same.  If they wanted us out, or low-income earners out, it's logical that they would have raised the income and bank requirements at some point.  Instead, all they have done is tweaked the verification requirements.
        
    If by tweaked you mean ,made it that you cannot spend your own money,then yes they "tweaked" the rules.

    If your attacks have stopped it means your angina is stable,as for your not getting an appointment straight away,its because your ecg and blood tests were normal ,it shows that it was not a heart attack ,believe me i sometimes think i know as much as heart doctors ,having a heart attack at 36,a by pass and being under heart specialists half of my life ,twice in 20 years have had bouts of unstable angina which only lasted a few hrs each time ,luckily.

    To be honest i dont feel unwanted,not a lot has changed since we came ,the pound has collapsed ,this stupid rule about not being able to spend our own money really is the only change.
    As for immigrants to the UK ,pity they didnt have to conform a bit more ,what with certain lots wanting their own courts and that we change to suit them, make them feel unwanted ,they certainly make us feel unwanted in our own country.

    I kept the 800,000 permanently in the bank. Wishing to live permanently in LOS it seemed the logical thing to do.
    If not able to afford that, can one actually able to afford to live in LOS? Some spend more than that on booze a year.
    Nothing to do with not being able to afford it,its MY money why should i tie it up permanantly,its mine if i want to spend it ,up to me.
