The Royal Bangkok Sports Club and the RBSC Polo Club are members only clubs with security guards at every entrance. Nobody is allowed to just wander into the grounds unchallenged. To be admitted you have to show your club membership card or be signed in as a guest of a member. The non-Thai membership of the club is just a few hundred people, what with entrance fees for membership being something like half a million baht. That's assuming you already know a proposal and seconder at the club.

Or if you buy goods moved by haulage firms. Just about every single thing you touch on a daily basis was transported to you using hydrocarbon fuels. Raw materials sent to China by ship. Then transported by road to factories. The factories transport their finishef products to ports. More ships to get your goods to Thailand. Lorries. Delivery vans. Motorcycles. If every single company and person in that supply chain is paying more then you cannot expect to pay the same.

There is no way that you have you clicked the link and read the headline of the policy I linked to.

If you bought the policy I linked to I don't think you would be submitting original receipts for personal items, as from what I understand, kidnappers don't usually let you out to do clothes shopping.

While you are in the UK, getting vaccinated again with a different vaccine is also an option. I know people who have done this so that they benefit from easier access to both countries. It's a very personal choice so I understand if this route is not for you.
