It is controversial, and the drug companies have even deeper pockets than the gun companies and the gun lobby.  

They are the closest to me that offer direct payment to my insurance provider, IMG.  I dont need them now, but just planning ahead.  The other choices would be Bumrungrad or Bangkok Hospital, Huay Kwang...Anyone have any experiences there, specifically ER care?

I just don't like the element, when there are so many better alternatives, pay or not.  And worst of all the drink prices suck, and the actual drinks are horrible.. like 30 ml is common here, and beer is high, but the entire ladydri k badgering is just stupid.  I am still willing to give directions.. Thermae is the north side and about where I would cross to the south side. 

Dual incomes are almost a necessity, and have been for decades in areas with strong economies, which almost always equals high housing costs.

Just tell them Depends are on promotion at Tops, and you will never see an old turd move so fast.

Generally, the trouble starts, when you cross the Asok intersection, but just going to Cowboy is ok....I would stay on the south side of the road, though walking between the two..the Africans tend to operate on the north side sois (odd numbers, close to soi Arab.  There is a police box on the end of soi 4, and It never has been a source of trouble...cigarette butt fines but that may be the BMA police...did hear of a checkpoint for cars getting off the expressway a time or two.  Thousands of uni girls around the various unis...pick your major, lol, if you like them young and legal...gogos are going to be tattooed up isaan girls..with a box car full of baggage, and some of the better looking ones dont even go with customers.

They always sweep the link to anti-depressants and anti-anxiety drugs under the rug.  It is shocking how many of these kids are medicated early on.  Tougher discipline would not have to cost a dime, and would save a lot of money in the long run.  My old Farmers insurance agent is in Santa Clarita...kind, laid back people, and pretty low insurance rates. ALmost the opposite of stuck up, ritzy rat racers.

Anyone using Google fit, or any of the other fitness apps.  I mainly wanted to measure my steps, but came across this more comprehensive program and have been using it.  Yesterday, it gave me 20 points for a bike ride to Bang Pho.  But, I was on the bus.  But used it on a hike to BigC for beer, and it was spot on.  Was rushing to get there by 14:00, and even got extra points for intensive exercise.  Is there a better app or are there any tips you can give on using these things?  Receipt for beer says 13:59...a big win.

Cross trainers provide lateral support, but tennis shoes also make good casual shoes.  I have seen one shop with authentic new balance in my size here in years... 8990..Shoes should be very high on your list of things to bring from abroad.  I buy them for about 900 THB from Amazon and pick them up on trips to parents house.  Wear the best pair home and trash them or leave them there, wear a new pair back, and sometimes a second pair in my luggage.  Hard to get a year out of just one pair in BKK.

I just saw a story from Vietnam, too.  Teacher given 11 years for Facebook posts..how long will it be before they realize Thailand is dumping its undesirables on them.  You know the saying.. Don't cheat a cheater.. Perhaps the only nationality better at cheating than the Chinese...

Yeah, or all the guys that despise the people drinking at momandpop will be get their way, and it will turn into KL or Sing... already happening.  I agree, being able to grease the wheels a bit is fine, but this is extortion, just like the beer prices at Holiday Inn.. 5000, not 200..and they weren't doing anything. 

I doubt you have ever been to Mexico... people fear the cops more than the murdering cartels, but people love to tell about getting let off of a traffic offense for a US 20.
