Just done the CI, and WP process for foreign workers. and in total 10,000 baht per person for 2 years. Took 4 visits into town, and almost a full day each time.

They've gone home to try and sort it out. His wife's Bhuddist, but their son has an issue as she hasn't registered his birth back there. From what my Mrs says, it's not uncommon.

Yesterday my wife was helping some Burmese in Ranong get their CI. Registering as Myanmar citizens. They work for a friend who's too lazy to do it himself

One a muslim, just had identity noted as muslim born in Myanmar. Anyone know what it means? His wife has a normal card. He was refused registration, and therefore a work permit. He does have a temporary passport, that all the legal workers have.

They were talking to the wrong people. Many older people voted for the 1st time. The biggest block of voters in the US is called The Monster Vote, and they abstain because they feel left behind. In the UK some turned out to vote

The result was what it was - the majority voted to leave the EU debacle and according to recent polls - that majority has now increased 

The abstainers obviously didn't care one way or the other.
