You mean "QPQ?"
You do realize that "There was no quid pro quo" statement from Trump to Sondland was completely fabricated nonsense, generated AFTER his shocked staff understood the doo doo they all just stepped in?

Typical red herring/distraction. Republicans will do ANYTHING to avoid actually discussing the facts.

Do you have a source for that quote that referenced the 2016 investigation that is currently being investigated by Durham which is noted in the WH transcript "that resumption of U.S. aid would likely not occur until Ukraine provided the public anti-corruption statement that we had been discussing for many weeks "
Sorry to hear your Google is broken. When you get it fixed, multiple sources here:

Absolute rubbish! There are literally HUNDREDS of bills Congress has passed sitting on Moscow Mitch's desk. Moscow Mitch has PROUDLY declared those bills are dead on arrival cuz they don't fit his narrative of how the world should be. Several of those bills are meant to protect the U.S. election process from foreign intervention.

The GOP has made it clear that they aren't in agreement with sciff [sic] and the msm narrative.
No. Lindsey Graham, who leads this Senate judiciary process, has publicly stated he has no interest in looking at the evidence. Schiff et al have been painstakingly careful about ensuring the impeachment process is legitimate. The GOP has publicly stated they will hold a kangaroo court and the outcome has already been determined regardless of the facts.

That means he doesn’t know for sure. That wouldn’t stand up in a court of law. Now there is an argument that if there were a quid pro quo, it wouldn’t have been illegal. The crux of the matter seems to be that it involves his political rival Joe Biden who has his own quid pro quo on the record, not to mention his giving the Chinese a free pass which apparently was rewarded with $1.5 billion being invested with his son. It gives the appearance of Joe being bought off by the Chinese. We know that the Chinese have bribed a lot of people in the US.
What people keep forgetting is there does not NEED to be a "quid pro quo" for this to be an impeachable offense.

That is a trigger term used by those who can't use facts. Your whole blah blah diatribe regarding Biden has NOTHING to do with the topic. Commonly known as a red herring or distraction to avoid discussing the topic. Republicans use this frequently because facts won't serve them.

Sondland is making Hershey in his pants over fear of the perjury charges he's dancing dangerously close to. And doesn't anyone find it strange that Trump is fighting releasing his tax returns all the way to the SUPREME COURT?!? There must be some CRAZY illegal stuff in there!

The recently released transcripts show that most Republicans weren't even bothering to show UP to those committee hearings they so publicly protested to be let into. If people are paying attention then they will see the scoundrels Republican politicians have become. Lindsey Graham publicly stated he won't even LOOK at the evidence cuz he "feels it's all BS." Beyond shameful how anyone can still defend this behavior!

Hahaha! Yeah, the other witnesses "refreshed" his memory. Read: his attorneys told him to come clean cuz perjury charges can and do stick.

Seems to me you are missing the point though. Nobody, even his supporters, thinks he is innocent of the charges.
Not at all. Lindsey Graham, who will be heading the judiciary committee on Trump's removal from office, has publicly stated he won't even look at the evidence. In his mind, Trump is innocent, and Lindsey's opinion matters.

My man...same BS from you on every thread...such hypocrisy...do you ever have an original thought?...contribute to TVF through your vast knowledge and experience? Lurking in the shadows...waiting for your opportunity to pounce on every word of those that think differently from you...does not add to the conversation...and makes you appear a bit shallow...????
Now go whine about how you are being misrepresented...????
Rather beneath your usually misguided arguments. His point was it didn't matter WHAT was inserted, it would still be nonsensical <deleted>. And suggesting he go whine somewhere is borderline trolling. C'mon, you're better than that.

Apples and apples, but different cases. Nail Biden with just as much vehemence, but you can't use the "Biden did it so why can't Trump?" defense.

I agree.
No. The government dysfunction started LONG before Trump. What Trump did was expose the moral rot that is now permeating government (and the Dems are just as guilty) AS WELL as throughout American citizenry. When someone can publicly say on this forum he's happy with starving American children as long as HIS bank account flows and there is no resulting public outcry, we've lost our humanity. I grew up in the 60's and homeless people just didn't happen. Now, we've lost the capacity to care for each other. Trump didn't cause this, he just let it bubble up publicly from the swamp he multiplied.

This impeachment inquiry smells exactly like the Russia probe...
A "Hail Mary" by the Dems who know they have no chance to defeat Trump in the 2020 General Election.
Sad to see how far American politics have fallen into dysfunction...????
So you're perfectly OK with an administration extorting/bribing another country in classic mafia style?
"It would be a shame if that military aid you so desperately need were withheld. I need a favor though."

I still maintain friendships with many white, evangelical Fox News viewers (obviously Trump supporters). For the most part, they will not engage because when I present them with facts, they do one or more of the following 100% guaranteed:
DeflectIgnore
Lie
Deny
Obfuscate
Facts - Kryptonite for Republicans

Trump supporters are doing a "stop, drop and roll" because the facts only reveal how crooked this guy really is.
Their reactions so far (and this is to EVERY crime, not just Ukraine):
1. We didn't do it.
2. We didn't do it but it really wasn't illegal anyway.
3. Whoever accused and/or exposed us is a traitor.
4. Gee, OK, you got us. We DID do it, but is it really all that bad? OH LOOK, a squirrel!
Most people are sick and tired of this. It's as plain as the nose on your face Trump is a criminal and those covering for him are guilty by association. NOBODY hides or covers up to this extent unless they are really, REALLY guilty. Now that the crimes are going to be made public and kept really simple so the average American can understand just how bad things have become, the current 49% who approve of impeachment AND removal will grow exponentially.

Just today, Democrats released 9 pages of what they can of the testimony given by Ambassador Yovanovitch. The Republicans? Not ONE peep. Comma for comma NOTHING. If there was even a HINT of justifying Trump's actions (read: crimes), don't ya think they'd be yelling from the tops of mountains? Your boy is done, it's just a matter of time.

Firchrissake how many times do we have to go over this? This has been explained again and again - this is NOT a trial. It's a inquiry. There IS no accused at this point so there IS no accuser to face.
