Money was supposed to be given out as soft loans through SME Bank, in Pattaya have only 1 branch. Not a single business in Pattaya besides 1 bs artist got any. Why i say 1 bs artist, because he claimed to get some and when i asked to post any paperwork proof, he was nowhere to be found. Personally, i did not take it lying down, i contacted BOT and BOT said money was supposed to be given to any Thai registered company, no matter if director was a foreigner or not BOT contacted SME and senior manager asked me to come back AGAIN with all the paperwork, only then to tell me, government initiative has already finished. Funny enough he claimed it was not a loan, but payments for rent for 6 months and wages, which i was happy to accept, but no sorry its already finished. So if no one in Pattaya got any money, where did all the money go?BKK?

Unless you believe QLD is Australia, i suggest you read up what is happening in NSW and VIC and then come back to ask me what is insane and what is not. QLD is not isolated, but perhaps QLD authorities have more brain than the other 2 states.

@mtls2005 Another thing, not sure if any meaning behind it, but upon arrival they asked me how old i was, and i am just over 40, her reply was something along the lines of yes over 40 can have Pfizer. Make of it what you will. Also just to put some at ease, everyone waits for 30 mins after the shot in a big hall, in that time i did not see anyone feeling sick or asking for any help or having any signs of anything. Well organized, English spoken, friendly, of course a number of "gentleman" felt the need to bring their skirt with them and even talk to the nurses for them. no idea why when all nurses spoke clear English. I wonder if they need a skirt to go to 7-11 with them as well

Firstly , do not want to start any rumours or gossip , this is my opinion from an observation. I was registered with Bangkok hospital for shots of AZ, but 2 days before had a choice of Pfizer. Today had my shot and while waiting the 30 mins started reading all the papers I had. 1 paper had the sticker with batch number, serial number and exp date. Exp date was 21 September, Ie next month. So I think the reason why Pfizer became so available is because the expire date. Did US donate vaccine with short shelve life? I am inclined to think so. Saying that, it worked out well for me, I am happy and I am under 60. If anyone interested , no side effects per say but feeling spaced out about 1-2 hours after the shot, hard to concentrate but other than that, nothing at all

utter bs, i was in the SME bank with hundreds of others, with hundreds of pages of company records and not a single one got a single baht, and not only government has not reduced or suspended any tax payments, but has not given any tax breaks or tax refunds. Stop spreading utter bs or what you read, reality is far from the bs being posted as propaganda. Local authorities demand sign tax on time and penalize for late payments, even though many have been closed for most part of the year.

None of this approved money made it to any business, because if it did, government would not be getting sued and businesses would not be shutting down. Social security here is nothing in comparison to the west. All those who lost jobs and had SS got about 15000-18000 over 18-19 months period. No not per month but in total. business owners got nothing in any shape or form and you very mistaken about Thai labor protection laws, not only not much different up the West but easily manipulated and most certainly are not made hard to fire someone in addition to charging for any damage they caused and charging them deposit prior to employment

What is happening in Oz in simply insane in all aspects , from lockdowns over 400 people to having citizens wait for 6 -8 months to return and make them pay for all. just the other day council ordered to shoot all dogs in rspca so rescue group do not have to come to pick them up as was arranged, in fear of covid spreading.

O one hand happy to hear restrictions will be eased , on the other hand 17000 a day is hardly a reason to ease anything . before numbers were 10000, more restrictions were introduced in fear of hitting 10000., but now at 17000 restrictions be eased. and I still find it fascinating that after Prayut made a statement , numbers started to decline on daily basis and recoveries remained high and about the same. is it possible government is now playing Russian roulette as they out of money and out of ideas or was it not as bad as initially they made it out to be . I will say though , Thailand is lucky not to have Australian politicians who locked down the country over 400 cases and vowed to keep it locked down until 70% are vaccinated

It’s very good of them trying but many others have also tried . I believe there was a German company which released one but in the end it was found to provide only 40% protector efficiency.. I do not know why in this late stage Thailand is wasting money when this money could go to a better use. even setting up second AZ production plant is a better option than wasting money on developing something which may not even work
