    It would take an understanding of danger, also the need to learn how to swim/stay afloat, etc, but sadly, as we know, thais either have no idea, or simple ignore it... And it's not limited to water/swimming

    How is this "Their approach includes cracking down on illegal activities, such as unauthorized tour services," supposed to do this "the team is coordinating with both public and private sectors to enhance safety measures for tourists," seems more of a hinderance to tourists.

    This is one reason why most people see the UN as a joke, allowing a nation that violates so many human rights to actually take a seat... seems the UN allows supression of human rights.. should be renamed United Nations Anit-Human Rights Council.
