To put a dent like that, cars have crumple zones so actuallly absorb an impact but dent very easily because of this. An old pick up does not have this feature, the motorbike must have been travelling a hell of speed to do this, and even then the pickup must have been stationary.

Police, please take this picture to the schools in phuket and actually show these kids how they can end up. Educating them, even if the pics are shocking.

this afternoon queue's at immigration were horrendous, took me nearly 2 hours to get through. Choose your line wisely.

needless to say suitcase was ready & waiting, i was more worried someone might have pinched it !!

I arrived in Phuket yesterday afternoon, took the meter taxi from Airport to Phuket and the driver who didn't know where the hotel was anyway, drove like a stunt extra out of one of the Death Race films -( not a great start to a relaxing break ....

My experience 2 years was the same, no work permit meant no unsecured card. Despite several chanotes etc guess we are a flight risk lol
