  1. In conclusion, it does not matter whether or not a particular breed is generally regarded as family friendly or owner focussed as long as the animal has been properly trained by a knowledgeable and responsible owner.

The 3 dogs in this case obviously never benefitted from proper care and just moving them to a new place is utterly irresponsible. They remain a deadly danger to anybody crossing their path - unless the new owner is a "certified dog whisperer", dedicating his life to the near impossible task of

    re-adjusting the behavioral traits.

Sure, In Australia everybody pays/everybody accepts debit card. And very fast, 99% of vwndors have the machine and 99% of the card holders have the card which just needs a fleeting touch on the machine and all done (fully insert the card into the machine).

And (in Australia) many debit cards issued abroad are accepted but need to be fully inserted in the card reading machine because the cards are not programmed for 'touch and go'. No big deal.

Along with that (in Australia) ATM machines are disappearing, not needed, very few customers withdrawing cash.  At the 2 big shopping centres near where I stayed in Australia for a while, it's getting more and more difficult to find an ATM.

    And the downside see screenshot

Laughable really , the same people probably keep their cash under their mattress at home

Bought a 450kg Safe some 20 years ago, bolted through the concrete slab of the house, fire resistant for 2 hours, stored yellow metal, jewellery, cash, essential documents etc.

Paid for itself within 8 years considering far lower premiums for "House contents" insurance.

Peace of mind and as safe as money in the bank????

  4. Apart from privacy concerns and increased government control - there are other dangers looming such as

    Systemic risks:

power outages, bank payment system outages, cyber-attacks on critical infrastructure, identity theft and compromised personal bank information

Locked into a private banking system with no escape.

The disadvantaged members of society not having access to a cc, unable to afford an internet connection.

The dangers of Overspending unless diligently keeping track of all electronic transactions and as a consequence being charged huge interest rates by the banks for this unsecured debt.

I’ve melting does not increase the volume of water even though about 10% remains above the water surface level.

this is another fallacy of the climate, instant but unqualified experts.

when water turns to ice it expands, hence becomes less dense, more buoyant and results in ice above the surface.

as it melts, it displaces exactly the same as the volume it previously did.

And that’s exactly why ice floats in water.

Fortunately, science is not a consensus of opinion of the masses. History has many examples.and that’s exactly why the climate experts don’t like open and free debates. Their agendas are shown mostly to be nothing more than political preferences and insufficient facts other than what has been manipulated.

remember the global cooling scare campaign of the 70’s?

Oil  will run out by the 90’s?

yes, all from the so called “experts”!!!

And yes Rooster, you’ve also been conned. But there is a difference between being and English and a Science teacher. Unless that science teacher also believes everything they are told to.

You're correct in saying that Icebergs melting in the Ocean do not contribute to rising sea levels.

The Ice covering large parts of Antarctica and Greenland up to 3 Kilometer thick and melting, do.

how are they so disconected with what is going on there

    Hard to figure

Chinese are not coming here any time soon, they are just working up on a new deadlier virus to spread while they are operating a zero tolerance

Phase 1 - has been a massive success - they have destroyed the free world

    Phase 2  ?

Any corroborating evidence for these allegations? And the virus duty fully stopped at the border to the less free world?

  7. I entered Phuket under 'Test and go' a month ago.

Was instructed at reception to register myself at the Lab carrying out the test in order to receive the result first hand and not have to wait until the  Hotel reception called.

I received the negative Test-Result 4 hours later (1pm), checked out showing the Lab report only to be told by that I had to stay overnight.  Took me half an hour and the Hotel Managers involvement to finally be allowed to leave. BTW - I did not have to leave my passport, reception took a copy . I stayed at the Hilton in Patong

There is indeed a lot of scope for 'misunderstandings' - summed up nicely by Sheryl's thoughts on the topic.

  8. Since no Hotel in Phuket offers a 'Test and Go' package, which include Test and Transport fees, I booked the Test through the official website https//:thailandpsas.com

The hotel  (Baan Thai Hilton) listed the test incl. Receipt Nr. and room as fully prepaid. I used this 1-page document for the Thai Pass application.

Applied 7 Nov, received instant confirmation in my gmail account but no QR-Code approval thus far.

My question: Has anybody using the same method received approval and QR- Code?

    Thanks for any useful information
