Trump saying it was stolen is his opinion, but he cannot change anything.
However, anything from CNN is not worth reading. Are CNN publishing all the details of all the democrats saying the 2016 election was stolen ? Nope.
Want to publish Trumps comments, fine, but please level it up with democrats same claims from 2016
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Post-election_lawsuits_related_to_the_2020_U.S._presidential_election
63 lawsuits - an overwhelming majority - have been dismissed by US courts all over the country incl. by courts stacked with Trump appointed justices.
"None of us know with any certainty" - seriously?

How do you get into debt with a Debit Card ?... PromptPay ?... LinePay ? TrueMoney ????
Try Credit Card - particularly the ones with not enough in their account.
Never seen anybody whose 1st cc got rejected coz over the limit - only to present another one.

Like, seeing something in a shop , then walking around trying to find an ATM , then making a withdrawal and taking the cash back to the shop to buy the item and they give you change back .
Much easier just to swipe you card there and then at the check-out, rather than the chore of paying cash
And much easier to overspend and find oneself in debt at the end of the month.

Sure, In Australia everybody pays/everybody accepts debit card. And very fast, 99% of vwndors have the machine and 99% of the card holders have the card which just needs a fleeting touch on the machine and all done (fully insert the card into the machine).
And (in Australia) many debit cards issued abroad are accepted but need to be fully inserted in the card reading machine because the cards are not programmed for 'touch and go'. No big deal.
Along with that (in Australia) ATM machines are disappearing, not needed, very few customers withdrawing cash. At the 2 big shopping centres near where I stayed in Australia for a while, it's getting more and more difficult to find an ATM.
And the downside see screenshot

Laughable really , the same people probably keep their cash under their mattress at home
Bought a 450kg Safe some 20 years ago, bolted through the concrete slab of the house, fire resistant for 2 hours, stored yellow metal, jewellery, cash, essential documents etc.
Paid for itself within 8 years considering far lower premiums for "House contents" insurance.
Peace of mind and as safe as money in the bank????

Nothing to forget or lose. Smart lock on house, no keys I guess all you need is an Apple Watch really. Losing a wallet can be a nightmare. Just buy a new mobile. Checkout is a breeze when not waiting behind a geezer pfaffing about with dirty notes and small coins.
I would like to make it a little harder on the crims. Every transaction should be traceable to a registered person, and the required taxes paid. All income some legally accounted for, or confiscated by the government
I don't believe people who commit crimes deserve privacy to cover their ill gotten gains or misdeeds.
I habe no doubts that You have no problem operating in cashless environment.
But a cashless society consists of people from all walks of life incl. the disadvantaged, the poor, the illiterate and uneducated - particularly in developing nations, which includes Thailand. They do not have the means as you nonchalantly mentioned to purchase smart locks, Apple Watches or just another Smartphone.
No doubt You breeze through the Checkout - as long as there are no glitches in the stores systems, no short-term loss of connections due to all sort of reasons. But I was left waiting countless times behind a poor soul whose cards were rejected or their phone ran out of battery.
So please broaden your horizon and consider all parts of a society affected by going "cashless".

Apart from privacy concerns and increased government control - there are other dangers looming such as
Systemic risks:
power outages, bank payment system outages, cyber-attacks on critical infrastructure, identity theft and compromised personal bank information
Locked into a private banking system with no escape.
The disadvantaged members of society not having access to a cc, unable to afford an internet connection.
The dangers of Overspending unless diligently keeping track of all electronic transactions and as a consequence being charged huge interest rates by the banks for this unsecured debt.

Put simple - I 'believe' in Facts - on this particular occasion clearly shown by an unadulterated video showing 2 guys fighting, The French guy tried to walk away only to be kicked again by the Thai from behind.

"Good that they get rid of such scum.
There is no need for loosers like that in Thailand"
Gottfried Tuesday at 9:41AM:
"My vote is on that everyone who defends such bad people coming to Thailand should be deported as well"
richard_smith237 Tuesday at 10:34AM:
"There is still a lot of missing information or us the media being selective about 'only' reporting the 'nice car' comment from the wife, who as we can see from one of the videos is already lying (the Thai clearly a participating party in the fight)"

Correct - he kicked the French guy and got punched in response.
Trying to walk away got kicked again by the Thai. In response got punched again by the French, fell and hit his head.
As per actual video footage.

I’ve melting does not increase the volume of water even though about 10% remains above the water surface level.
this is another fallacy of the climate, instant but unqualified experts.
when water turns to ice it expands, hence becomes less dense, more buoyant and results in ice above the surface.
as it melts, it displaces exactly the same as the volume it previously did.
And that’s exactly why ice floats in water.
Fortunately, science is not a consensus of opinion of the masses. History has many examples.and that’s exactly why the climate experts don’t like open and free debates. Their agendas are shown mostly to be nothing more than political preferences and insufficient facts other than what has been manipulated.
remember the global cooling scare campaign of the 70’s?
Oil will run out by the 90’s?
yes, all from the so called “experts”!!!
And yes Rooster, you’ve also been conned. But there is a difference between being and English and a Science teacher. Unless that science teacher also believes everything they are told to.
You're correct in saying that Icebergs melting in the Ocean do not contribute to rising sea levels.
The Ice covering large parts of Antarctica and Greenland up to 3 Kilometer thick and melting, do.

how are they so disconected with what is going on there
Hard to figure
Chinese are not coming here any time soon, they are just working up on a new deadlier virus to spread while they are operating a zero tolerance
Phase 1 - has been a massive success - they have destroyed the free world
Phase 2 ?
Any corroborating evidence for these allegations? And the virus duty fully stopped at the border to the less free world?

There are no more Bars in Patong only 'Restaurants'

I entered Phuket under 'Test and go' a month ago.
Was instructed at reception to register myself at the Lab carrying out the test in order to receive the result first hand and not have to wait until the Hotel reception called.
I received the negative Test-Result 4 hours later (1pm), checked out showing the Lab report only to be told by that I had to stay overnight. Took me half an hour and the Hotel Managers involvement to finally be allowed to leave. BTW - I did not have to leave my passport, reception took a copy . I stayed at the Hilton in Patong
There is indeed a lot of scope for 'misunderstandings' - summed up nicely by Sheryl's thoughts on the topic.

You know nothing about NZ or Australia I live in OZ on a pension (since I lost every thing in the land of lies) I don't have property I pay rent and I live quiet well
Are you kidding me?
You live off A$967.50 a fortnight - the median weekly rent is A$471;
leaving you with more or less nothing to feed yourself.
BTW - I live in Australia.

Since no Hotel in Phuket offers a 'Test and Go' package, which include Test and Transport fees, I booked the Test through the official website https//:thailandpsas.com
The hotel (Baan Thai Hilton) listed the test incl. Receipt Nr. and room as fully prepaid. I used this 1-page document for the Thai Pass application.
Applied 7 Nov, received instant confirmation in my gmail account but no QR-Code approval thus far.
My question: Has anybody using the same method received approval and QR- Code?
Thanks for any useful information

Thai man dead, had "genitals ripped apart" in Pit Bull attack - owner says he's had enough of his pets

In conclusion, it does not matter whether or not a particular breed is generally regarded as family friendly or owner focussed as long as the animal has been properly trained by a knowledgeable and responsible owner.
The 3 dogs in this case obviously never benefitted from proper care and just moving them to a new place is utterly irresponsible. They remain a deadly danger to anybody crossing their path - unless the new owner is a "certified dog whisperer", dedicating his life to the near impossible task of
re-adjusting the behavioral traits.
