To sum up 'bias' - you be the judge.
Gottfried Tuesday at 9:38AM:
"Good that they get rid of such scum.
There is no need for loosers like that in Thailand"
Gottfried Tuesday at 9:41AM:
"My vote is on that everyone who defends such bad people coming to Thailand should be deported as well"
richard_smith237 Tuesday at 10:34AM:
"There is still a lot of missing information or us the media being selective about 'only' reporting the 'nice car' comment from the wife, who as we can see from one of the videos is already lying (the Thai clearly a participating party in the fight)"

Correct - he kicked the French guy and got punched in response.
Trying to walk away got kicked again by the Thai. In response got punched again by the French, fell and hit his head.
As per actual video footage.

I’ve melting does not increase the volume of water even though about 10% remains above the water surface level.
this is another fallacy of the climate, instant but unqualified experts.
when water turns to ice it expands, hence becomes less dense, more buoyant and results in ice above the surface.
as it melts, it displaces exactly the same as the volume it previously did.
And that’s exactly why ice floats in water.
Fortunately, science is not a consensus of opinion of the masses. History has many examples.and that’s exactly why the climate experts don’t like open and free debates. Their agendas are shown mostly to be nothing more than political preferences and insufficient facts other than what has been manipulated.
remember the global cooling scare campaign of the 70’s?
Oil will run out by the 90’s?
yes, all from the so called “experts”!!!
And yes Rooster, you’ve also been conned. But there is a difference between being and English and a Science teacher. Unless that science teacher also believes everything they are told to.
You're correct in saying that Icebergs melting in the Ocean do not contribute to rising sea levels.
The Ice covering large parts of Antarctica and Greenland up to 3 Kilometer thick and melting, do.

how are they so disconected with what is going on there
Hard to figure
Chinese are not coming here any time soon, they are just working up on a new deadlier virus to spread while they are operating a zero tolerance
Phase 1 - has been a massive success - they have destroyed the free world
Phase 2 ?
Any corroborating evidence for these allegations? And the virus duty fully stopped at the border to the less free world?

There are no more Bars in Patong only 'Restaurants'

I entered Phuket under 'Test and go' a month ago.
Was instructed at reception to register myself at the Lab carrying out the test in order to receive the result first hand and not have to wait until the Hotel reception called.
I received the negative Test-Result 4 hours later (1pm), checked out showing the Lab report only to be told by that I had to stay overnight. Took me half an hour and the Hotel Managers involvement to finally be allowed to leave. BTW - I did not have to leave my passport, reception took a copy . I stayed at the Hilton in Patong
There is indeed a lot of scope for 'misunderstandings' - summed up nicely by Sheryl's thoughts on the topic.

You know nothing about NZ or Australia I live in OZ on a pension (since I lost every thing in the land of lies) I don't have property I pay rent and I live quiet well
Are you kidding me?
You live off A$967.50 a fortnight - the median weekly rent is A$471;
leaving you with more or less nothing to feed yourself.
BTW - I live in Australia.

Since no Hotel in Phuket offers a 'Test and Go' package, which include Test and Transport fees, I booked the Test through the official website https//:thailandpsas.com
The hotel (Baan Thai Hilton) listed the test incl. Receipt Nr. and room as fully prepaid. I used this 1-page document for the Thai Pass application.
Applied 7 Nov, received instant confirmation in my gmail account but no QR-Code approval thus far.
My question: Has anybody using the same method received approval and QR- Code?
Thanks for any useful information

Agreed - as long as your destination is not the Purgatory of peak craziness and Zombie apocalypse on steroids ruled by Panic Merchants with an iron fist. Worse than Thailand to but it mildly. Australia, the Hermit Kingdom.

Your first sentence is wrong.
Your second sentence is pedantic. And pointless.
Here is the truth: the heavier the restrictions and the longer they are maintained, the more effective they are. Do you disagree?
You see, the Denier Lie Factory got you all excited because there isn't a universal definition of a lockdown, which then inspires you to think that lockdowns don't work because of the lack of a universal definition. Sort of like love doesn't exist because there is no universal definition for that, either.
Hard Lockdowns work to bring the numbers down - temporarily.
Once a Lockdown ends and some of the restrictions are revoked, it's only a matter of time until another outbreak develops followed by .... the next Lockdown - rinse and repeat.
Just look at Australia - with greater Melbourne having entered the 5th Lockdown and Sydney the 3rd.
Presently 12 Million are in Lockdown.
And few pay attention to the 'collateral damage' Lockdowns cause, such as extreme economic hardship, skyrocketing mental illnesses, destroyed livelyhoods, avoidable deaths through failure of diagnosing and timely treatment of of other life-threatening diseases such as cancer and diabetes.
The only solution is to get the vulnerable (the old and people with co-morbidities) vaccinated as quickly as possible. Problem of course is the monumental failure by the Thai Government procuring enough of the good stuff. And deliver it to the ones most at risk. I know, wishful thinking on my part.

But it's only the last few years that people have been allowed to self-identify as a non-binary, transgender, bi-curious Cornish Pasty from Guatemala.
There has to be a cut-off point, or people will abuse the system.
Abuse the system? Which system?
It seems to me going through the history that ancient civilizations were probably more accepting, judging from the positions held by transgender, which included priests and even one of the roman Cesars.

Further to Ben de Costas assertion that it is a mental health issue https://kutv.com/news/nation-world/being-transgender-not-a-mental-disorder-americas-leading-psychiatric-organization-says

If you have a penis, then you do not have a girl's brain, you have a boy's brain.
A DNA test will show what chromosomes you have, and if it's XX, you're a girl, XY and you're a boy.
This gender confusion thing is a mental health issue.
Humans have existed for around 200,000 years but only in the last few years some people have started to think that they were born in the wrong body. Very likely, it's caused by oestrogenic chemicals leaching from plastics, or it's caused by attention seeking people who are latching on to the latest fad.
I suspect the latter.

You might be surprised - the last few (thousand) years, people were born in the wrong bodies.

In response to Thomas J
You prefer choice and the costs involved seem not to bother you.
As a matter of fact, the highest costs for every service and medication in the world. Costs that millions of Americans cannot afford.
Next you are going to tell that this fact proves the efficiency of corporate America running Healthcare.
I agree that this system is highly effective in one respect - maximising profits.

I am from the USA. The examples that I have are Medicare. Medicare has more fraud each year than the combined profits of all the private healthcare insurance companies combined each year. The other example is the V.A. which has made the news for decades for poor service and dying patients.
Now your experience may be good but that says nothing about its expense and no way to determine if the private system competed against it that the quality of healthcare would be as good or better and the cost lower
There is nothing, absolutely nothing the government runs efficiently. They have zero incentive to provide cost effective services.
With the private system, I get to choose my doctor, I get to choose my hospital, I get to choose which drugs to take and if I don't like my current selection, I get to change them. With government run programs I can only receive what they allow. In your instance that may be very good but it says nothing about at what cost.
If I am a government and don't care about the expense I can certainly provide world class care. My fiance is from Norway which has "free" healthcare The government confiscates so much of company profits that a Big Mac, small french fries and a medium soft drink cost upwards of $17 USD or about 22 AUS. They tack on a 25% VAT to each and every purchase. So good "maybe" expensive absolutely.
Personally, I prefer choice. I see how the USA runs the postal service - bankrupt, Amtrak rail - bankrupt. social security retirement - bankrupt, Dept. of Education - US test scores declining, V.A - bankrupt and lousy service
I have not delusions that some bureaucrat will have my best interest at heart. They care not about what something costs, nor about its quality of the service they provide. One of those two will always not be a priority. The government will spend far more than necessary or it will provide lousy service. -

Factories normally have their own canteens, post offices, GP offices, etc. Probably they would turn some unused area into sleeping area, but all the rest is already there.
The CEO of the worlds top canned tuna maker Thai Union operating out of Samut Dakhon had this to say 1 month ago, after 69 out of more than 23,000 of his workers tested positive.
Those without symptoms would quarantine at home or at designated locations.
He has not ruled out Factory Closures if the situation worsens.
But, but, of course we always build factories with tens of acres of unused space to house our workers in times of need. Nuff said
