Ugh! Uber, grab, panda.....I'll not be using these "services" again. I'd rather walk.

Is this to service the 3 cars Tesla have sold in Thailand......btw is there a luxury tax 300% on these beauties? I'm assuming they are not made in a Tesla gigafactory in Thailand....one that no one told us about.

You seem to have allocated your problems to the vaccines, have you had that medically confirmed? Is it not possible you have long covid?
The answer is yes. I have had it medically confirmed insofar as one can. I saw a top neurologist at Bumrungrad and had a two MRIs there. There were 5 possibilities according to her....one was a stroke (ruled out by the MRI); one was long COVID or vaccine issue; third was early onset Alzheimers but unlikely as there are no plaques in the brain; forth was blockages in the arteries of the brain (again MRI confirmed this not to be the case); and the fifth is OSA (obstructive sleep apnea) which I have had for 20 years already, and so doesn't really fit with the timing for the onset of the symptoms. I bought a new CPAP machine to be on the safe side (60,000 baht).
The neurologist offered some more advanced tests (very expensive) for spike protein and the like...but given there is no effective treatment, I declined to have these as I pay out of my own pocket. What use is it to have the diagnosis and not any treatment.
I treat it myself with NAC (N-acetyl cysteine) which I read about on the internet....again I have not derived any significant benefit from the combined use of a better CPAP and the NAC.
My life has been destroyed at the age of 65.

Well I won't be lining up for one. I had two already and they made me sick as a dog for nearly 2 years now. Fatigue, brain fog, weakness....my life has changed beyond any comprehension at all...I had to stop driving.
And I got COVID on top of it all. And of course Pfizer and Moderna have immunity from any prosecution.

Agents are a tax on the very poor and the government should stamp them out. People who don't have the 800K for the deposited to shell out 25000 to an agent for a 1900 baht visa extension. Ridiculous, risible and tantamount to theft.
Basically, if you can't afford to live honestly in Thailand and abide by the rules, go home. I doubt it's much fun being poor in Thailand...then of course, what happens when you get sick and wind up in a dirty hospital because its cheap....go home, only those who have the money should be here.

Easy to pledge....difficult to do. Can anyone name a country that has reduced inequality in the past decade? Two decades? It seems the rich get richer and the poor, poorer....as though it is a Law of Physics. We know the cause, the outrageous greed and selfishness of the rich. I do wish politicians would stop making pledges for which they have no agency to implement.

I was browsing through the rules of the famous "Rules based international order" toady. I betcha didn't even know they were written down do you? But it says the following and to be honest, not much else....and I quote "The Hegemon, the US, is entitled to intervene in any other country and to select the leaders and heads of state of said countries; they are entitled to regime change any leaders or heads of state not deemed sufficiently pro-US and is unwilling to grant access to all of its resources to the Hegemon."
To be honest I was shocked....but there it is in black and white and apparently agreed to by the whole world.

And is it down 90% vs 2019 as a prior report said?

Seemed like a lot of resources to move one dude, but research shows that Dupre is a hit man and the guy he whacked was a mobster.
Yup, massive overkill....and I guess all the Thai officers in the photos are all pointing fingers at the perp. I guess I'm surprised that Canada would extradite a citizen for killing an Indian...what if he gets the death penalty, or what of the food in prison isn't good. Never mind if he is given the death penalty at least he will be eligible for bail. (Satire for those folk who are challenged bye this sort of comment)

I've been here long enough to have seen many of these irresponsible and foolish individuals on motorbikes, hearing helmets or not, talking on phones or not, drunk or not, crashing and then crying about getting home, about hospitals asking to be paid and about the costs of flying the fool home to the UK.
I'm sick of it. If you are such an idiot I don't want you to come to Thailand and give foreigners a bad name as carping Cheap Charie's who won't pay their bills.
Either buy insurance and if the insurance doesn't cover the risks you take don't take the risk....stop with the begging and GoFundMe nonsense. Grow up and take responsibility for your actions. As for the photo of the relatives over here helping with the begging while enjoying themselves as tourists well? What can one say? I'm not impressed....but then I've never appreciated tattoos.

Thailand has enough of its own problems. Millions of Thais are getting sub standard health care.
I have already chipped in $500 for this kid.
How about you put your hand in your pocket to help him out.
Or do you just want to complain about the Thais?
A fool and his money are soon parted.

Are you a Mor Du ? (fortune teller) how can there be "no action" when they are not yet in power. Your bias is showing.
Not fortune telling.....just experience. Those who put their faith in the newest, bestest, non corrupt politician, are usually disappointed. What is that old adage about spotting an action or deed and thinking you might be right....but spotting a pattern and you know you are right. The pattern of politicians in Thailand is all big easy words....and these words are particularly stupid because it is not within Pita's power to make Thailand a regional leader. Other countries might have something to say about giving top their positions.

East to say......Pita this makes you sound like any other fraudulent politician.....all words, no action.

How about finishing some of the ongoing projects like the M6 that Prayut said was '95% completed'? It was done to open in late 2020.....miles of road are completed and have lights which are light up at night in the greatest wastage of energy the world has ever seen.....but there's a great big hole in the middle from Saraburi to Glangdong. I pass it often but never see anyone actually working on it. And there are no tolls, no service area which all need to be built.
Then there is the Bullet train to Nong Thai.....it's gone from bullet train to a 50kph 'express train, completely defeating the purpose. I don't know when it was supposed to be completed but it will be years before its finished.
Also can someone answer me the question why we have all these differing toll systems on toll roads....systems that don't hook up. Easy Pass was the first I believe....requiring embarrassingly difficult registration at a few Krungthai banks nationwide. Then there was MPass....then Mflow.....all these technologies, especially Easy Pass are decades old (I used EZPass in the US in the 1980s). Why didn't they install a state of the art system across the whole system?????? It's absurd worse even than believing politician generals.

Idiots. EV are a dead end. Inefficient due to carrying Hughe battery load around all the time. A dead end because the batteries (like internet speeds) are 'up to'...range is up to 200 km on a charge....batteries last up to 7 years (or maybe only 3 years) then you need a half million baht exchange. who will buy a 3 year old EV car when the battery might give up at any moment....the buyer will have to give a warranty...and the buyer would be a fool to accept a warranty from a private seller. A dead end because what is going to happen to all the toxic dead batteries.....yes I'm sure that in Thailand they will all be perfectly recycled....or a cheaper alternative, fly tipped on waste land with risk to water supplies. Another dead end...cost of electricity and the number of stations with charging facilities in the next few years.
Forget it....buy an ICE, preferably a diesel. Forget this EV and environmental rubbish.

I find it strange that a group of people need their own flag, colored crosswalks, (in Canada), a
special time of year for Pride week, or Pride month etc. As a senior all I like is the Canada flag, and the provincial flag
where I live. The LGBTQ Plus 2 spirits, and the rest are some what confusing. The trans group and the Binary group
especially. IO guess I am just too old fashioned.
No not too old....too sensible.
