Hmmmm classy move by the town leaders. Perhaps the penis, when it goes limp, will urinate on the crops.

Clever move by our genius leaders.....I always expect bars and pubs to be open wherever I go, but not in sandboxes, so if Phuket is now officially a sandbox then I will not be expecting any alcohol to be served in restaurants or bars, so this closure ticks all the right boxes for me. I suspect the owners of 7/11 will be well pleased. Expect Phuket to be swamped with tourists in July 1st looking for directions to 7/11s.

I don't feel any different in my mind and I'm usually shocked when I look at my reflection in a store mirror.
However my body started failing in my 60s with sleep apnea, obesity, diabetes, joint pains etc. I literally couldn't live in a cold climate now and function. I'm 68 and don't hold out much hope for the next decade other than an increasingly rapid decline in my abilities.

Rich foreigners are agro-corporations seeking cheap fertile farmland to exhaust with intensive farming. They want very large lots and to do away with the farmers. Saudi leases large tracts of Thai farmland to produce rice for itself.
Ask yourself why when you drive into Bangkok you don't drive through tens of miles of slums like you would into Delhi, Kolkata, Mexico City or Caracas....it is because farmers in Thailand can still eke out a living by farming and so live on the land. This means they don't migrate to vast slums around the capital city. The last thing Thailand needs is agro-corps like ADM buying up farm land in Thailand. So let's make sure that stimulate the overbuilt condo market isn't the thin end of the wedge for foreigners owning farmland.

I "registered" about 6 weeks at our mooban. They were supposed to be collecting info on the elderly & vulnerable etc. Have heard absolutely nothing since. I'll wait I suppose as I don't fancy sitting in these rooms full of people waiting for jabs.

I am always mystified by the immense, misplaced faith that the police (and maybe the judiciary and public) place in these re-enactments. They seem to be simply photo ops for the top brass.

Pretty naughty stuff. A lot of needy patients will be going without their medicine due too this totally unreasonable action by BiB.

Panda seems to dominate in our little backwater of the world. I don't like to generalise but their drivers are <deleted> awful.

....."no stone unturned"....(in the swimming pool?)
We all know that the police do excellent, unbiased, detective work on all crimes, so why should this be any different. Tip from 2000 years ago: cui bono?

Most of the scams I have ever read about involve mobile phone banking. They never seem to involve home based computer banking. I decided many years back to avoid phone banking and computer banking on my Thai bank accounts. I see no reason to change my position.

There is probably a dead body in one of your spare rooms which is causing the flies. Shame about the ice cream.

Why not pay COD?
Personally I have had a number of issues with Lazada delivering very poor quality goods which seem to be misrepresented in pictures on the website. Obviously Lazada themselves are not liable for this....they only take the order and arrange delivery, they don't make the stuff. I cannot see myself spending much over a couple of thousand baht on their stuff.
Overall I am less than enamoured with internet shopping generally and feel with any important purchase I would like to actually feel and touch the merchandise before buying.
On the positive side Lazada seem good with timely delivery, although I wish they would put all items bought in one single delivery instead of 6 deliveries for 6 items.

Funny how often CCTV not working when a 'suicide' happens. I wonder if the CCTV automatically switches off when a suicide is about to happen. My mind keeps returning to the chap who hung himself with a pair of socks from the hinge on his interview room door....yep CCTV mysteriously was turned off.

In a word no, I will not be buying electric until I am forced to.
Electric vehicles are no more environmentally friendly than ICEs. Indeed strong arguments can be made for ICEs being better.
Assembling the lithium ion batteries is extremely energy intensive as the mining for rare earths is very inefficient and low yielding. Second, the electric vehicle is inherently less efficient. For an ICE you drill for oil, refine it, put it in your car and drive. Ie there are few energy requiring steps. For electric vehicles, you have to mine the coal, gas or other fossil fuel, you then burn it in an energy inefficient manner (a power plant), you then transmit the power with massive losses all over the country, you then have to build charging infrastructure for the EVs, you then have further large power losses as you charge and discharge the battery, and take into account the additional power that EVs use because of their extra weight. PLUS, the nail in the coffin is battery life.....it will not be what is claimed (like internet speeds it will be up to 5 mega bytes, meaning 2 megabytes per second, and then you have to dump the toxic battery every 100,000 miles. A gigantic con.

I swear I Googled caverject and I found the following description on a website among the first results:
"This medication is used to treat male sexual function problems (erectile dysfunction). It works by helping the blood flow into the penis to achieve and maintain an erection. This medication is not for use in women or children."
really? ????????
Caverject is Prostaglandin E1. It is injected into the corpus cavernous on the side of your penis. Generically alprostadil. It was introduced in early 1990s by Upjohn but was never a commercial success due to the unpleasant idea of injecting your willy.

Normal countries shouldn't have to change their immigration laws every five minutes (or every year). Thailand always seems to have an urge to change its laws. Any new law that comes out will be subject to further (negative) changes in the days, weeks, months and years ahead. The half life of Thai immigration laws is about 20 seconds, plus it would be activated at the local level and each different locality will interpret the new rules differently.

I've never been to Turkey. I wouldn't mind seeing Istanbul before I die, but I am not tempted by the the idea of living in any Muslim country. No thanks. The movie Midnight Express is seared into my mind.

Have you tried Caverject injection?
I've taken Viagra and Cialis. In my opinion there is no comparison with Cialis from an efficacy, duration of action, cost and level and nature of side effects, being much the superior agent. However during the last couple of years my libido has waned markedly. My wife is menopausal and has little interest in sex either.
It's not really an issue for me or for her. We are both ultra affectionate people but find we don't want or need vanilla sex any more. We tend to try kinky stuff these days when we are in the mood.
I tend to disbelieve men in their 60s and 70s claiming massive sexual potency who claim to have sex a few times each day.
